Customer reviewOnly stayed a night but was decent for what I needed. May have been a little too far out of town but the station is just down the road, not to mention a good pub/restaraunt next door. Good to met young travellers. |

Adelle SmithMetro Inns is approx a 15/20 minute train ride from Newcastle city, once you are off the train it takes approx 10/15 minutes to walk to it. Follow the hill to the top past the Tesco super store and service station, you will pass more shops on your left about half way up. Turn left at the round about and its past the pub on your left hand side. If you are wanting sleep then don't stay there on a Friday or Saturday night, it is full of young people on their Hens and Stags nights, VERY loud all night. Self cleaning showers and toilets, only 2 or 3 per floor but they ran well with hot water all the time. Carpet in our room was disgusting and stank due to spills from alcohol etc, bedding was quite grubby as well. Cheap (ish) to stay here though. |

Sarah Craibself-cleaning showers and toilets What I did not like was hostel bookers failing to get my reservation (I had a confirmation) to the inn. Don't book through these guys if you can help it. They screwed up my reservation twice in a matter of days and I only got a room at the inn through chance. |

Customer reviewNo thrills hotel. But extremely cheap and a good way to meet other young people who are in Newcastle looking for a good time. Taxi into Newcastle costs from £9-£13. Basic room consisting of a double bed and a single bed. Has a TV, sink, power points and our room was clean. Showers are great. Staff were fantastic. |

Customer reviewthis hostel is ideally situated between the airport and the city center, and only 5 minutes walk away from the metro station. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room very clean. |
