Liked: Good location, 15 mins walk to city centre. Staff down to earth and very friendly (like every Jordie I encountered). Basic, no frills and homely.

Disliked: No Internet

Liked: Staff were very helpful, great building, tidy warm rooms, great breakfast (may not be included in price - double check when booking)

Disliked: No internet in the house or at any nearby location, quite a distance from town, quite a messy neighbouhood - seemed to be rubbish everywhere except for around the guest house

Liked: I found the staff helpful.

Disliked: We were told breakfast was at a certain time but we were not told if it was included or not so we had a mix-up. The only way to get there was by taxi which isn't ideal. There wasn't always a staff member at the front desk. The entrance also had a strange smell.

Liked: The service offered upon arrival was absolutely excellent - far superior to considerably more expensive places I have stayed at. The accomodation was perfectly suited to my needs. It was very comfortable, conveniently located for my stay and excellent value for money. Would definitely book there again if staying in Newcastle.

Liked: This is the way a hostel should be! The place was spotless and comfortable. The full english breakfast was included, and was really good. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
