We've combined all our combined hostel experience and rolled it up into a shiny new product, part backpackers hostel, part hotel = a great time in Britain's second city!

We provide plenty of free stuff as well as the essentials required for a great time travelling in our city and region: secure key card access to the rooms, linen included, TV lounge with a huge selection of movies to watch as well as playstation and fooze ball, self catering kitchen where you can cook for yourself or others, 24 hour reception desk with bouncy happy hatters people, key city information on what to do, where to do it and even with who (if you are flying solo). There is free breakfast, linen, baggage storage. We have really good wifi throughout taht is cheap but we are working on getting it for free for you lovely people as soon as we can.

We're also conveniently located in Northern Quarter - Manchester's artistic centre. We're right in the middle of town, and walking distance to practically everything...a few steps away you will find shops (the standard shops as well as the slightly different and original ones), clubs, pubs, restaurants, museums, art galleries, bars and an array of Manchester's most famous live music venues.

Accommodation Information

We have 4/6/ 8/10 bed dormitories that are mainly ensuite with a few rooms that will be slightly cheaper as the showers are not in the room. We also have private rooms which are are as good (but nicer to be honest) as those hotel places you hear about (we also provide you with a secret kitchen to make your tea and toast if you feel the need for a quiet start or finish to the day).

Location Information

We are located in the middle of the citys Northern Quarter and right around the corner from the world famous Night n Day live music venue and all round cool bar. The MEN and Band on the Wall are a stumble away also. We are walking distance from all of the city's museums, art Galleries, shopping malls, pubs and clubs as well as restaurants and fast food joints.

Afflecks Palace which is an eclectic indoor shopping bazaar is class and must be visited at least once during your stay. The city centre is small and all things to see and do are walkable although there is an open top tour bus to see more of the city from a greater height if that is your thing. Manchester Utd's Old Trafford stadium as well as Manchester City's fabulous new stadium are short taxi or tram rides away from the centre of town.
