Liked: when we stayed at the hostel it was mid week so dont take the poor rating for atmosphere and fun place to meet people too seriously. it was a really cool hostel.

Liked: Everything was good.

Disliked: Breakfast was a little boring, and although there is tea/coffee/toast available 24hours, there is nothing to spread on the toast.

Liked: It fulfilled all it advertised.

Disliked: Things were taken from my (unlocked, stupid me; never again) luggage left in the room - but this was people staying there, nothing to do witht he hostel itself.

Liked: close to the city center and close to cheap places to eat. Friendly and efficient staff. free toast, coffee and tea all day. pool table!

Disliked: no free wifi there was someone sleeping on my bed, I changed bed and when I came back there was someone sleeping on the new bed aswell, it wasn't my fault or the other person's, it was the hostel system that had allocated two people on the same bed, on the same day the shower was clogged

Liked: The kitchen, has oven, microwave, stove, cupboard...They have eveything you need in a kitchen,that's convenient, just like in your home. The pool table,50p per play, i enjoy the game. The shower, eventhough it's out of the room,but it's clean, and large enough to have a comfortable shower.

Disliked: The breakfast seems to be single,just toast. But the hostel provide hot water, tea and coffee all the time.

Disliked: very noisy guests (loud all night, smoking in the room, taking drugs etc.), staff didn't seem to care...

Liked: despite previous negative comments, iwas a bit anxious about going but the hostel is brilliant. Clean and the staff are very helpful. This being my first time in Manchester, i didn't really know where to go but the staff helped me out

Disliked: Location was very handy but initially hard to find

Liked: group activities offered and a good tv room and kitchen lounge set up & location was spot on. They provided free juice, tea coffee and toast all day

Liked: It has a lot of character and the staff were so helpful! It's close to everything and easy to find. Everything was clean and if we ever needed anything the staff was more than willing to accommodate. They had toast, tea and coffee available all day. The TV room is nice and they have a good selection of movies and video games.

Disliked: Really nothing. The shower was on the verge of burning, but not unbearable. But really it's a great place to stay.

Liked: Nice and close to the centre of Manchester and a short walk from the train station. 24 hour reception and free toast helps when you are returning from a late night out on the town.

Disliked: Showers on the 3rd floor for the guys were consistently cold but using the 1st floor resulted in a warm one. Having to pay for internet is always a turn off and the small lockers in the reception could be bigger and actually located in the dorm rooms to make them more practical.

Liked: A really pleasant hostel, l loved the building and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. And great that the original WCs and basins have been kept, I loved the bathrooms, so bright and airy and spacious.

Disliked: My only problem was that the dormitory was too hot to sleep. I've found this problem in most hostels recently though, I guess they are catering for people who are used to these sort of temperatures!

Liked: Location just 10mins away from train station by walk and in a nice district with lots of nightlife. The staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Disliked: The showers vere funny they woulf stop automatically and had to be switched on again and again, but I guess its ok as it conserves water.

Liked: Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. The free tea/coffee and toasts was a good and easy way of raising the feel-good-atmosphere.
