Liked: atmosphere in the lounge was good, fun to meet people and plenty of things to do. The free breaky was great and toast and coffee/tea are available for free all day!

Disliked: rooms got quite hot and stuffy, bright in the morning, run down ugly bedrooms.

Liked: We liked that is was located in the city centre and we also liked the general atmosphere of the place.

Disliked: We disliked the fact that the dormrooms were very large and unpersonal.

Liked: Very good hostel: clean, central, free linen, free breakfast. A little expensive but would recommend.

Disliked: Only real criticism is the Internet: 30 mins for £1 on the terminals, or £5 for 24hr wifi access - most hostels offer wifi for free.

Liked: Location, spacious

Disliked: That the secure lockers are pretty crappy and locks are a bit special. So unless you have a right lock you can't make use of it. Bathrooms are shared and there is no space to safely put your belongings except in the public space while you shower.. not very safe

Liked: Great location, mostly helpful staff, loved the lounge area for chilling out and using the net!

Disliked: Could really use a bar! There was one blonde girl who I met a few times cleaning the rooms, she was really rude on all those occasions.

Liked: The location was very good. The breakfast was great and you can have tea, coffee and toast all day! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Liked: The friendly atmosphere between the travellers, the fact that there was a receptionnist 24 hours, the helpful staff.

Disliked: The fact that the internet was for free.

Liked: i stayed here for a night, there were coffee provided all day long.

Disliked: the lifts were not working so i had to walk up the flight of stairs (stayed at 4th storey) will not be convenient if you have big luggages. the bedroom was quite dirty there were chewing gums all over the floor and bed frame.

Liked: This is one of the friendliest hostels I have stayed out. The nice gentleman at the receptions took the time to explain where things were, etc. etc. about the hostel, something that most other hostels don't do, they just leave you to find everything yourself. Best of all is the FREE tea, coffee, toast and jam ALL DAY! The lounge room is great, relaxing music, clean and very well organized kitchen and a sunny room. Really a lovely space. The rooms were secure and the hostel is in a good location. The room itself was spacious and the bathrooms quite clean and sunny. They let me keep my pack after check out (and used a number system so it was secure). Lovely place!

Disliked: Nothing, really. It would be nice to be able to log in and out of the internet (after15 minutes you lose the credit), but really no big deal as the internet is quite cheap and fast.

Liked: this place is mad. clean, big kitchen, hang out room with computers, excellent location in town, big dorms, and very good staff.

Liked: I've been to many hostels and this one was by far the best, nicest, cleanest, funniest place I've been. The city centre is only some minutes away - great location, great hostel. Thanks to the staff (and every offerings and so on) my stay was worth any penny... Thanks a lot! I'd always come back!

Liked: Close to the city. Easy to get to from Picaddily Station.

Disliked: Men's showers on 3rd floor were cold. However, the ones on the first floor were much better.

Liked: The Staff were very helpful and knew the area well. Manchester was an Awesome city. It had a good common room and good entertainment facilities.

Disliked: The internet was expensive at 1 pound for thirty minutes. The bathrooms we had to use were located a floor below us which was a bit annoying but altogether it was a pretty good hostel.
