You get what you pay for, and it's easy to get to the centre by public transport. The rooms are clean, the hotel has a lovely atmosphere.

the staff were friendly and it was a bargain!
unfortunately i left an item of clothing in my room and it was never handed in to lost property. this was the down side.

This was a hotel and great to have the privacy after staying 2 weeks in hostels! Great buy for the money - also the tram from Manchester Picadilly took you right there! (that is from the train station)

Friendly and very helpful staff, large room with good sized ensuite bathroom. Only quibble is that it needs to be made clear on the website that on Friday/Saturday nights, loud music is played til 1am. Other than that, great value for money, very comfortable furnishings etc. Taxi costs about £10 to centre of Manchester.

Cheap and just a good place to be when you are away the whole day to visit the city. But most of all cheap and that is good for students.
