It's only a few minutes walk from the town centre so really easy to get to. Apart from that the room was really comfortable and welcoming, and we really valued the bar - open late even on a Sunday evening! Also we were staying for a big Radiohead gig in the city, and the hostel had some of that atmosphere to it!

It was clean and inexpensive, food is served until late and the staff are helpful. The room was better than I expected for the price I paid.

Restaurant and bar staff friendly. Some reception staff friendly but one not at all. The question re whether hostelbookers was promoted - I can't say it wasn't but if it was it wasn't very noticeable.
