Customer reviewThe deal we got was incredibly good value for money. The bnb itself was exquisite - clean and attractive and very cheap! Seriously no complaints here - we were more than pleased with the room, and both staff and other guests kept completely to themselves so there's little to comment about there. I guess our only gripe would be about the strange opening hours the Ascott has on a Sunday - we were unable to book in between 1 and 5, which might be problematic for some. Aside from that it was great. The surrounding location was, however, slightly more problematic. While the street the bnb is in looks fine, the walk to the tram takes you through a rather dodgy neck of the woods, and if you want to get a local bite to eat the best we could find within walking distance was the Morrissons (a supermarket) cafeteria. Local pubs looked both unsanitary and unsavory. If location isn't an issue for you or you have your own car, I would definitely recommend them, and would go back again. |
