About Barmy Badger Backpackers

New to the Badger as of February 2013, all the dorms have personal large lockers with a key coded laptop safe in each one. Four new bathrooms have been put in with larger showers. The Badger has a large kitchen where you can store and cook your own food, plus the free continental breakfast (toast, cereal, selection of spreads and fruit) is served there. We also have a tv room with cable tv, comfy sofas and a book exchange. Wi-Fi is 100mgb, free and accessible throughout the whole hostel and the outside in the garden. Other facilities include a laundry room for guests to do their washing, free city maps, free tea and coffee all day, a backyard with a bbq for those summer days and a herb garden, tomato and strawberry plants.

Accommodation Information

The Barmy Badger Backpackers has 6 and 4 person dorms, plus twin and double rooms. Breakfast is free as is all day tea and coffee. The 6 person dorms are all en-suite and have large lockers with personal key coded safes and large enough for backpacks. The 4 person dorms have large lockers and a personal key coded safe.

The twin rooms have one bunk bed in them and a sink, plus large lockers with a key coded safe in each locker. The double rooms have a double bed in them and a key coded safe. A couple of the doubles are en-suite.

We provide all sheets, duvets and pillows, but NOT towels. We do ask that guests use the sheets provided and not their sleeping bags.

The Barmy Badger Backpackers is located just a 3 minute walk away from Earls Court station. Local attractions within walking distance include Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Earls Court has excellent transport links that all of London's attractions are easily accessible. These attractions include Westminster, Buckingham Palace, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, the Tower of London and St Paul's Cathedral.
