Liked: Decent location for the reasonable price, clean bedding is always a good start

Disliked: 12 bed dorm with only one toilet/sink/shower - a lot of queuing just to brush your teeth. Breakfast was pretty poor and I really dislike polystyrene cups

Liked: I stayed in a private room for two (on one part of the trip we stayed in a twin ensuite, and in the other in a double onsuite - this just meant it was two twin beds or one double bed). The private rooms were clean, bright and homey. There were towels, soap, shampoo and linens included. There were also tea bags, dried milk packets, sugar and an electric kettle in the room, which was a nice touch. There was a tv as well. Housekeeping changed the towels each day, made the bed and cleaned the room. Overall, the housekeeping service was closer to that of a hotel than a hostel, which made the stay that much more pleasant.

Disliked: They were painting the floor I was staying on, and the hallway always smelled strongly of paint. They also accidentally charged my debit card for a no-show fee even though I had already checked in and was staying at the hostel. However, when I told the front desk they reversed the charge. When I realized this charge had overdrawn my account, the manager refunded me the overdraft fee.

Liked: I stayed at private room. It was small but it had all what you might need: TV, kettle (with coffee, cream and sugar provided in a room), shower. I did not really spend a lot of time in the room/hostel, so size of the room did not matter. Two steps from underground, park. Very convenient. Would stay there again if they remain competitive in price.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: great location, lots of restaurants in the area, and very close to hyde park

Disliked: ensuite bathrooms sound like a good thing, but consider that you'll wait for the other 8 people you're sharing the room with to finish before you can get in. there aren't any public toilets except on the basement level. NO PLUGS in rooms so charging your phone/laptop can be an interesting challenge. (oh, also no WIFI) there wasn't much of a lounge area, so it's not so easy to meet other travelers. the rooms are typical dorms, so you basically just come here to sleep.

Liked: Great location and good value for money. i was ablt to check in at 2am with no problems

Disliked: i stayed in the 20 bed dorm which was quite cramped, but did have 2 bathrooms.

Liked: Nothing to like about this place. My feet hung about 20cm over the end of the bed, very dirty and old room, no Wi-fi (only place I have been in Europe without it), have to pay for everything! Nothing is included. I asked to reduce my stay and the guy at the desk thought it was funny that I couldn't cancel. Poor service really

Liked: staff were really helpful and it is also really close to the bus stop for the 143 I think it was to carring cross I think the stop was but once you get to the shops on a stretch of road its near there and is half the price of the underground, plus no changes! The hostel was warm and clean.

Disliked: nothing - but do add bus info onto your paperwork as it will help travellers as its not walkable easily with luggage from Victoria, but the bus is a good option

Liked: The location was absolutely fantastic. It was near to the undergrounds and there are so many shops around that makes everything so convenient eg. tesco, spar, mcdonalds and burger king.

Disliked: Their shower facilities were pretty good though one time there was no hot water, for some reason. And the toilet is pretty dirty especially cause we stayed in 10 bed dorm so I guess the amount of people made it hard to maintain the cleanliness. The beds are pretty good although some beds do creak A LOT.

Disliked: High noise level from busy street outside, water in shower was either freezing or boiling, no remote control with TV, breakfast a bit limited.

Liked: Great location, very clean sheets, shower in the dorm itself (vs common rooms), luggage room is safe...I really loved my stay at Bayswater hostel and would recommend it to anyone in want of a cheap and fun stay in the bustling city of London!

Disliked: Not enough sockets in the dorm and bad lighting in the bathroom. Missing : a mirror in the dorm room and some bedside lamps. But what could one really expect more for such a low cost, ideally situated hostel ?

Liked: Its' location which is just a few steps from the Queensway station.

Disliked: The bed especially the duvet - after sleeping for 3 days, my whole body (I'm not kidding) is filled with some sort of insect bites. What they gave us when check in is 2 bed linen and a pillow case which gives the impression they only clean those and god knows how long has passed by before they wash the duvet.

Liked: the location is good for going out that it is near underground station. it is clean and the cleaner is nice.

Disliked: it would be a little bit noisy, because a bus station in front of the Hostel.

Liked: booked dorm of 8 for 4 person, it was not a cramp as u will imagine. ensuite toilet is clean with really warm shower. staff there is really friendly and approachable. near several convenient stores for those on budget.
