You can meet people from around the world here, which is really fun, and the location is not bad at all for the price too. plus souvenir shops in the neighborhod offer really good bargains. But the building itself is really crappy...the steps are fixed with wide, black tapes, and the carpets look dirty. beds are sqeaky and shaky and bed sheets are thin. if you want to use luggage storage you have to pay extra. it's a really gipsy place but not the bohemian, artistic kind. the building is plainly white, with no decorations at all. if you want a good sleep in the night and a nice breakfast in the morning, don't expect this hostel to give you much. but if only for a place to stay (to meet your most basic needs), it's just ok.

Very good location - close to Kensington Palace + Gardens and Hyde Park, 5 minutes away from 2 subway stations (Queensway and Bayswater) - therefore easy to get to the city center.

The location of the hostel was good - close to public transport. Some of the staff did not seem interested in helping you. The shower was awful (too hot then too cold). dorm rooms were okay.
