Liked: Internet was good and fast, was close to a tesco and tube station. curtains on bunks were good!

Disliked: NEVER hot water!!!! staff were really slack, rude and unhelpful. If you are in London you NEED a hot shower this is one main thing you need in a hostel especially when it's below 0 degrees outside! Rooms were very very cramped no where to put your bags at all too many bunks cramed in the room. kitchen was way to small that people had to stand when eating the free breaky.

Liked: Really friendly environment! We met people from everywhere around the world! Close to the tube station, which makes deplacements in the city really easy! I would recommend this place for any short stay! For a longer stay I would rather seek more comfort. But it is the perfect place if you come for party, and not much to sleep well!

Disliked: It is a really friendly environment! You get to know everybody! And the staff is really good too!

Liked: Great staff, well equipped kitchen, great lounge area with TV and DVD player, the bunk beds in the dorms have curtains all the way round and lamps with a place to charge your laptop. Great for a bit of privacy and the ability to charge your things while you're sleeping.

Disliked: Five people had things stolen from there rooms while staying here including myself; from hair straighteners to laptops to makeup to shoes. The dorm rooms are three story bunk beds - about 20 people to a room and this makes it quite unsafe for your belongings due to the number of transient people. The water in the showers was almost always luke warm or cold.

Liked: It is located in a "strategic" place. You can easily get around london, England and even other countries beacuse the Kings Cross St Pancras station is very close. Concerning food you have plenty of restaurant nearby and you also have a Tesco close to the hostel so if you want to prepare your own food you can easily do it. One of the things which I really like about this hostel is the curtains and the lamp which are found on the bed. I have been to other hostels which we can say are much better than this one but they do not have that curtain/lamp on the bed. That simple feature was very very helpful beacause you will not be disturbed if someone wants to use the light in the room at night. Then the breakfast is free and you can have tea or coffee during the day which is also free. But apart from some minor problems I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. For a person who is on a budget and still want to stay in the centre of London for a short term this hostel is appopriate This is my third time I was staying in this hostel during my trip to England. If I am coming back to England for holidays and I am in London I will come to this hostel again.

Disliked: Maybe space is a problem. You really dont have much room, it is very tight. The kitchen is and the living room is also quite small. Sometimes the showers were not giving hot water!

Liked: The location is really good.

Disliked: The showers didn't seem very clean and hot water was either not available or then only. The room wasn't really clean either and badly secured (the door frame was almost broken). Besides that it was hot and humid. The staff was friendly - unfortunately unlike most of the guests of which mainly the Spanish majority was mostly inconsiderate and loud. Even though it's a cheap offer it's not recommendable at all.

Liked: I liked that it was close to a really big station -- King's Cross. It makes it easy to get around London. The staff was decently nice.

Disliked: I disliked most things about this hostel. It's dirty, there are too many beds put into their small rooms, and there are seriously no windows. There are several levels to the hostel and they put the showers at the bottom without any ventilation, so that made the entire hostel hot and sticky. I was there in November and had to take off my jacket as soon as I walked in. I never wanted to hang out there at all, the atmosphere was very strange and overall unfriendly (the people staying at the hostel, not the staff). Overall, if you enjoy humidity and feeling like you constantly need a shower, stay at this hostel!

Liked: Most of all I liked the location.

Disliked: The bathroom was not very clean as well as the WC. The bed was awful - I have never seen a bed on three stages - it was difficult to climb on the second and third bed and when somebody turned in it it could be felt by the rest of the people. The window could not be closed so it stayed open the whole night. The room was tiny.

Liked: The individual curtains on the beds was a nice touch.

Disliked: The hostel had fleas and bedbugs, I (and those in my group) were all bitten severely, resulting in numerous medical bills. The staff were unhelpful, and had little to no knowledge of the local area, and a limited understanding of English. Despite being autumn the hostel was constantly humid and incredibly hot. The "common area" was shut for large portions of the day (including the area with safety lockers). The "common area" was also incredibly humid, with ceilings low enough to require a ducked head.

Liked: It was really close to the King's Cross station and even I who is directionally challenged could find my way there and back to the station to leave.

Disliked: nothing really. Just felt bad interrupting everyone's tv watching and mingling to get to the area where they lock up your luggage every time I needed something.

Liked: Location is great, everything is very close to this hostel, there is a train and bus station, underground, restaurants, pub, tesco etc. Our duble bed room was great, comfortable, clean and we had a new bed, but I will not recommend a stay in other rooms with a lot of people, only this double rooms are OK for this price. There was a hot water in showers. Breakfast was so so, nothing special, and not so clean kitchen. It's ok that you don't have to leave some deposit on arrival, free lockers, and free wifi, that was very helpful. Stuff is great, they help us with some informations.

Disliked: Very loud and drunk Spanish people during the nights with terrible behaviour and temperament. Unisex toilets and showers - terrible (but a clean lady is there every morning at 9 am). There are also a only women showers which are ok.

Liked: The location.

Disliked: There wasn't hot water in the female showers on the first floor. I contacted the staff who knew about the problem but did not do anything to fix it - which I clearly do not understand. You know that there is something wrong but you fail to solve the problem? It would have been very enjoyable to take a hot shower after a long day's journey around and in the town. Another thing: a far too loud teenager group from Holland who felt like partying all night. :-(

Liked: Very nice staff and great location and only that. If you´re looking for a very cheap place to stay, rock´nroll, never sleep and really don´t care about higiene and good beds here´s the best place to stay. If only looking for a place to spend the night, don´t even mention it...

Disliked: It's too noisy to sleep at night since there are other guests yelling riht outside. The kitchen and common room are in the basement with no windows. There were no lockers in the room. My room (dorms) was very hot and stuffy, with a very small window. All night there are people coming in and out the rooms talking and with no respect for those who are sleeping. First thing I did when I woke up, was to leave this hostel...
