About Surprise Backpackers

We offer friendly great value accommodation in safe, clean dormitories with free wi-fi internet, free security lockers, free breakfast and linen all included in the price. Other facilities include a fully equipped kitchen/common room in which you can make a home cooked meal or sit down and watch TV.

We have power sockets in ALL rooms!!

The traditional style English pub downstairs gives guests the opportunity to have a relaxing drink until midnight, play a friendly game of pool, table football or darts or just sit back and watch the latest football or other sporting events. Or simply have a chat with the staff or the locals who will happily give you information and answer any questions about London.

Earliest check-in time is 1300 (luggage can be stored for free from 8am on the day of check-in)

Surprise Backpackers sleeps a maximum of 12 people to a room.

We have:
1 x 2 bed mixed shared rooms
2 x 4 bed mixed shared rooms

1 x 6 bed FEMALE only shared room
3 x 9 bed mixed shared rooms
1 x 12 bed mixed shared room

We have a total of 10 dorms, sleeping a total of 67 people, which gives you the opportunity to meet and greet other like minded travellers.

We have power sockets in ALL rooms!!


Free linen and lockers are provided in every room for laptops, cameras, passports and other valuables. you can bring your own padlock or buy one from reception.

Our beds range from 2 to 3 level bunk beds

All female dorms are available.

The hostel is just 7 minutes walk from Victoria station (over ground trains and Circle, District and Victoria tube lines) or 3 minutes walk from Pimlico tube station (Victoria line).
