Liked: Bar downstairs is great. Pretty good location as well. Drinks/pizza anytime. Clean linens, everything quite clean.

Disliked: The rooms are *crammed* and, for the 9-person rooms, you will be woken up.. many times. Come prepared with earplugs to significantly improve rest. Also the showers were a bit uncontrollable in terms of temperature (tending towards steaming hot) and the key cards didn't work every other time... but those aren't huge things, really.

Disliked: My room was extremely crammed. Very little space for people to even put their backpacks.

Liked: Lotsof things were good decent clean toilets and showers, and the staff were good easpecially in the morning helpful and friendly, good breakfast as well and the price for central london is very cheap,. but it is not secure or safe

Disliked: The upstairs rooms are small crampt and the place has steep stair cases with no fire escape's that were clearly marked. or seen During the night, with a call of nature, it took some negotiating of bags shoes etc to get out into the corridor, with a tiny room and nine beds what it would be like in an emercency was a real issue for me. Also people were coming and going simply by tapping on doors most were co workers it seemed. during the night we had at least one extra guy sleeping with his G/F he didnt sleep much and neither did the rest of us. The beds are three bunks in one seemed like a lower bunk had been added, sleeping in that would be like being on the floor,!!! Lockers are tiny with padlocks at 2 pound a night 20% of the cost of a room.

Liked: Mostly the help given by the staff they were really helpfull . An excellent place to stay as it is located within a walking distance from the underground .

Disliked: The music as it was to loud most of the time and preferd a mug for tea rather then a plastic cup as a mug is more hygienec

Liked: Green Man is an AMAZING place to stay! Always meet great people, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and it's in a very central location right next door to a tube stop.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: The directions from the tube station were very good. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the other staying there (including the long-termers) were all fun to hang out with. The pub has a great vibe and reasonable prices! The showers were warm and the facilities clean and well stocked.

Disliked: One of the guys who was also in my dorm said that he saw a mouse, but I didn't see it, so who knows.

Liked: The rooms and bathrooms upstairs were always clean, right next to a tube station which is handy and the bar staff friendly and helpful.

Disliked: As above a pub no common room/tv area to chill out and watch movies after a hard day of sightseeing.

Liked: Location

Disliked: The room keys and WiFi were rubbish. The water in the showers wasn't warn enough. The rooms and showers aren't very comfortable as aren't equipped with small but necessary things like shelves, clothes hooks, individual reading lamps which I found in other hostels.

Liked: The location was good as tube station is right next to the hostel. The bed was clean, but all of these does not compensate with others that I do not like.

Disliked: Backpack lost/stolen and system unreliable!!!! At first there was something wrong with my booking and the hostel management said it's because of the system. Turned out that my booking was changed to another date and someone checked in under my name, what worse was that the hostel manager said it was not the first time that it happened I am just the unlucky one. Although they gave me a bed to stay that night, I had to wait for confirmation if I would get a bed for the next night or not as the hostel was fully booked (someone might cancel last minute). I had to check for other available hostels but most of them were fully booked as it was halloween weekend. Going through the mentality of "not having a place to stay" is not fun at all. The worst thing that happened to me was the next day my whole backpack was lost/stolen from the luggage room !!!!!

Liked: 2 mins next to a tube station. None can beat it so far in terms of location.

Disliked: The room for 9 was way too small. If everyone put their luggages in there there would be no space left to walk.

Disliked: The fact that Wi-Fi did not work at night time, not in the room or even downstairs in the bar as it advertised on the website. After talking to some travelers who had been there longer they said that this was a common occurrence
