Liked: Traveled from Norway at start of the year the pheonix was a fantastic place the staff were lovely jonathan and nicole were the best. good memoriies and good nights out

Liked: I liked the location of the property. It was close to Marylebone and many of the London attractions. The staff were friendly and outgoing, especially Matt! He was brilliant. The breakfast was good too!

Disliked: Natassia left no negative feedback.

Liked: The hostel has a very welcoming environment, there's a communal area downstairs fitted out with comfy chairs and bar and wide screen TV. It has lively fun atmosphere, they've got boardgames and an Xbox. Cooking facilities and good sized room upstairs. I would definitely stay there again!

Disliked: They were painting the walls when i was there

Liked: Staff were friendly.

Disliked: Room was cramped and could benefit from a repainting. Cold draught next to the closed window. Charges for lockers and towels. Shower rooms were tiny, you have to step into the shower before you can close the room door. Taps in one of the shower rooms didn't work.

Liked: I had a great time here, Scott was very helpfull at reception and the place was cleaned twice a day, there is a really nice shower on the top floor!

Liked: Across the road from the underground. Close to restaurants, had a bar downstairs.

Disliked: General atmosphere. They charged extra for towels and didn't have any available anyway. Room was very basic - just a bed and bedside table. Shared facilities for private double room. Not good value for money overall.

Liked: Cool atmosphere, a lovely pub downstairs and sleeping rooms upstairs. Free WiFi. We slept in a room of 14 ppl, the windows were open all night and the radiators heated the room so it wasn't too airless or too cold. Possible to buy continental breakfast for £1.50. Washing rooms were clean.

Disliked: If you want hotel Ritz, then this hostel is not for you. Suitable place for backpackers.

Liked: it has wifi and a nice lounge area to hang out in. Its a good place to stay for a few nights.

Disliked: the bunks in the room are very cramped in, 3 bed bunks, 2 of those in a small room. Lots of the people live there long term so there stinky clothes are scattered everywhere.

Liked: Nice location, close to the Marble Arch and most of central London, close to Camden by tube, the place had a lot going for it. The nightcrew guy, Sam was great, lots of fun to talk to.

Disliked: Downstairs area looked like it could use some TLC, paint or something, they'd started renovating when I stayed so they might give it all a huge repaint.

Liked: Good location close to a few underground stations, Good bar/chillout lounge. Friendly staff.

Disliked: The triple bunks (why were these invented, they suck) and my bunk was so squeeky in room 9. Everytime I made a slight movement it made a noise. And you could feel the springs in the matress. Showers were small but manageble.

Liked: 100 %! Ide recommend alot! me and my friend stayed last year only for 3 nights but they were unforgetable! the hostel has a great buzz and the people who worked there were soooo nice, we still keep incontact with those we met through facebook both staff and other travellers we met on our journey. The reviews definetly reflect this place, its not a big hostel however its small enough so that you can meet everyone at the bar and have a drink or two. jonathan and weyi were the coolest people there. So friendly and helpful, thanks guys for making us feel so welcome!!!!!!!!!

Liked: everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was very awesome. Great for people in their 20's.

Disliked: it is an interesting place with a lot of character. Not so great for someone who may have wanted a hotel instead

Liked: Shower and toilets were clean and hygienic. Rooms had lockers. Great breakfast for only 1,5£ !

Liked: The staff were very friendly, especially Stacey. Angus is a barrel of laughs. The accommodation itself is very tidy and good. Would definite reccomend.
