Liked: Je ne voudrais pas tout devoile, mais cet hotel est vraiment super et Jonatan le francais est vraiment quelqu'un d'attentione, qui sait ou sont les bonnes soirees et les mauvaises !

Liked: When we first got there Stacey booked us in even though we messed up our reservations in the first place. She, like all the staff we met, were very helpful and friendly and gave us great ideas of where to go and how to get there. They have a continental breakfast every morning that while not exactly 5 star hotel grade, there was a great selection and more than enough of it. All the while Stacey was behind the desk with friendly banter. Couldn't recommend this place enough, they even clean EVERY DAY we were there.

Liked: The "ROOM DOWN UNDER" was the best ever!!!!! all the staff are great and helpful with anything you could ask!!!!!! big shout out to Scott and Stacey!!! big thanks for making it a great time...... extended my stay 3 times

Liked: we stayed at the phoenix last year. Initially there was a mistake with our booking we had booked a private double but told at reception on arrival that our room was being occupied and so they gave us a much larger dorm room all to ourselves. After that me and claire got free wine at the bar, many drinks later we went out with a large group led by some of the staff on got totally p*ssed! We had so much fun for the 3 nights that they could of put us in the shower room for all we cared. The room and the hostel came second to the atmposphere staff and location.

Disliked: water from the showers changed temprature randomly and wireless internet seemed weak from the end of the second floor

Liked: although we were in a room with lots of beds it didnt seem cramped with plenty of space to store everyone's luguage and so on. we stayed for 2 nights during the winter, from what i remember the phoenix was reletivly quite enough to meet everyone sleeping upstairs. The communal bar area stayed open till the late hours and on the second night we went out on a drinking session near the kings cross station with some of the staff. staff at the phoenix were 100% amazing thanks to becc dean weiyi jonathan

Disliked: wifi was sometimes slow... especially at night. although staff did there very best to make up for it

Liked: I really liked the way it was set up, the staff was super friendly and so were the other guests.

Disliked: The one shower didn't have any cold water, which sucks when it's really hot. It was also annoying that the doors were hard to open as well.

Liked: hostel was in a great location, everyone who worked there were fun and the bar area downstairs had a very relaxed atmosphere. I made some great friends and ill never forget me trip to LONDON and to the PHOENIX HOSTEL x

Disliked: dont expect a kitchen, although from what i recall thy had a fridge and microwave

Liked: One the very few great youth hostels we booked in our trip. Clean, new, free coffee and the, free internet, and stuff, and not expensive Really really great. The french receptionist (shame on me I forgot his name) was especially nice and helped us a lot on how to have the best travel experience in London, and gave us hints to enjoy the most we could our trip. Great thanks to him.

Liked: BEST HOSTEL IN LONDON weiyi dean and jonathan were wonderful and so much fun to go out with, i still keep in contact on facebook even after 2 years!

Liked: Very safe and great that it offers free wi-fi. Close to a few Tube stations, but not a whole lot of highlites directly around the hostel. A short walk can put you in a good place. The rooms are small and the facilities could use some upgrades, but it is a very good price.

Disliked: Could use some upgrades in the bathroom and such.

Liked: i stayed here before i started work and travel in florence. It was good for me because of the location and local transport ammenaties. i liked the staff working ver much ;)

Liked: Free Wi-Fi, computers available to access internet, good breakfast for only 1.50 GBP, friendly staff, open 24h so checking in very late at night was not an issue.

Disliked: Only one toilet was available to service a whole floor of rooms, and things could have been a little cleaner. The bunk beds were very packed compared to the size of the room. (For the question below, I don't know if it was promoted or not, I did not notice anything about HostelBookers in any case)
