Liked: The staff was very friendly, even let me use the work computer for a few minutes when I was in a jam. The breakfast is a nice spread, and the building has a nice feel to it.

Disliked: I stayed in the 16-bunk room on the floor above the bar, and the first night the music was bumping until midnight...but after it quieted down it was no problem. For older travelers/ people who go to bed earlier, I recommend springing for a slightly more costly room on a floor higher up.

Liked: This was by far the most exceptional hostel i have stayed in and best bang for your buck! It was priced nicely, the bed was satisfactory, no curfew, bar downstairs playing a great variety of quality music, and the staff was the friendliest i have ever dealt with! Definitely try to stay here if you can!

Liked: The amazing staff! The owner (nice british guy who owns the pub) and his staff is simply amazing. Alex, the main guy who runs the hostel is absolutely the BEST hostel host I ever had and I've had many stays all around the whole. Jimmy and Will who's there during the day is also great is helping out guest. I honestly think their friendliness, awesome attitude, willingness to help and chat is what makes this place magical!

Disliked: I wont lie and say the facilities are great. The showers tend to run cold if you shower past 11pm, after others have theirs. The room is cramped and stuffy (find a fan. there's a few portable ones lying around) and beds are small. The spring in the mattress is almost non-existant and the height of the bunk beds and real small (I'm 5'7'' and I cant sit on my bed). The place is also kinda old and run down. All said, HOWEVER, the location is great, close to everything and the staff, as I said earlier is just AMAZING. Thanks for a great stay Alex, Will, Jimmy and the boss!

Liked: The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the location was great, security lockers were available, free wireless internet, full kitchen available for use. This hostel made me feel like I was right at home.

Liked: The staff (the really nce guy with dreads) definatly made this place awesome. I was traveling by myself and he made it feel so homely and nice, helping me out every oppurtunity there was. The place has plenty of showers/toilets and a really good kitchen area. Although the bar downstairs was closed due to a private funtion when i was there it would definalty be a cool place to have a few drinks. The hostel was really close to the tube to, very handy!

Disliked: Only very minor things, the beds were a bit squeeky and the train runs straight past the hostel however nothing that some earplugs cant sleep (also blocks out those snorers).

Liked: Staff were very helpful and the bar gives the place a very nice feel. The location is tremendous, the staff outstandingly helpful and very friendly and it was the right place to be in for a weekend with partying and sightseeing in London.

Disliked: It really was the bathrooms being in a poor state that resulted in a mixed image. If you cannot cope with noise at night, one out of our group of four struggled a bit, hearing trains shifting and moving at Waterloo station can be disruptive. Personally, I did not mind.

Liked: Everything. The place was perfect! the stuff are really kind and driendly, they helped me a lot, i sincerely recommend this hostel. When i get back London ill be there. you can get the London Eye in 5 minutes walking and around 8 - 10 the Big Ben and Parlament building, they have the perfect bar and and the perfect breakfast buffet ;).

Liked: 16 bed dorm....was actually not to bad. I was expecting the worst. felt like oliver twist or something haha. people were pretty respectful . The staff were great. Loved that there was a pub downstairs. Which you can't even hear from the dorms which is good. good experience. great value for money

Disliked: I'm pretty sure the sight said that there were washing machines on location.....I was really looking forward to those.

Liked: I loved the location--it was excellent for walking to the Westminster and Southbank areas but it was also between two Tube stops as well. The staff was helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for London. Many of the services that were advertised as for a charge were actually free (such as towel hire and internet use) which was a nice cherry on top.

Disliked: I never had a HOT shower; it was lukewarm at best. This was a bit disappointing.

Disliked: unstable hot water, especially the showers in the 12 beds dorm. hope it could be improved.
