Liked: Its location is good.

Disliked: I didnt like room, bathroom, toilets..etc.In general it is not a good place to stay and so expensive in spite of the quality of the place.

Liked: Location:Was located very close to many of the tourist attractions as well as the underground station.

Disliked: one of the showers was not working. Room itself didn't have many lights.

Liked: The staff was extremely kind and helpful, thumbs up to ALEXANDER, who never sleeps and still is always in an excellent mood. Excellent breakfast.

Disliked: There was no internet room available for the guests, even though they had WI FI (we were told the computer they had for the guests to use was broken).

Liked: I loved the fact that all the staff members were so nice! It was really pleasent to have such a staff around you that always is available to help you out. The location is superb, 5 minute walking distance from london eye, house of parliament, big ben and some other big highlights. This is defenitely one of the best Hostels I´ve ever stayed in.

Disliked: Well, there is nothing to dislike for me. but if you do not like dorms than don't pick the dorm. Also the noise coming off the street can be really annoying if you are a light sleeper. The douches might run a tad cold but not really cold so taking a shower in the summer there is also pretty refreshing.

Liked: We loved the staff and location. We had to move our dates and the hostel helped with no problem. There were six of us and we felt very welcome. The staff had recommendations for going out and dinner. We cannot recommend this place enough and will do so in the future. If we ever visit London again we will stay here!

Disliked: There wasn´t anything to dislike. It sounds incredulous but it´s true. We had a great stay.

Liked: Fantastic place! I've stayed a few times now and all the staff always go out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome. I once arrived at 7am in the morning and was able to store my luggage, provided with a towel for showering and offered breakfast. All my check in was done there and then and I was provided with a key so that I didn't have to come back and go through it all at 2pm when the room was ready. This was very much appreciated! The location is great - within walking distance of many attractions and of course, Waterloo station. Overall a great place to stay...I'm sure I'll be back at some stage!

Disliked: It wasn't a problem for me but the noise of the trains and traffic could be an issue if you're a light sleeper.

Liked: I liked how there was a bar right underneath. They were pretty strict about securing our belongings & locking the doors. I liked that.

Disliked: 20£ key deposit was not mentioned on the website. The beds were soooo uncomfortable, I could feel the springs in my back. No "lounge area" & they advertised a computer room that was a small hole in the wall with a bench.

Liked: I absolutely loved the Walrus Waterloo! One of the best hostel experiences out there. The staff were so friendly and helpful and they were what made our stay so enjoyable. We saw a pair of backpackers come in and were looking for a place to stay but there was none available at this place, but the staff called around looking for vacancies which was above and beyond what is expected. The rooms were quite nice and felt very secure.

Disliked: Nothing to complain about!

Liked: I really liked the fact that the hostel had a bar downstairs, good place to hang out. When I arrived I had to wait a few moments, but they asked me very friendly to wait and gave me a glass of water. There seems to be enough showers and facilities in the building. The location is also very good if you want to have a night out at Ministry of sound, they even have a discount for people staying at the hostel.

Disliked: Its a good hostel and staying there is the hostel experience that you should have. Not much to say about what I disliked.

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. They were willing to help with whatever you need. It is dorm style rooms so if you don't like dorm style this isn't the place for you. Showers and bathrooms are adequate, not spectaular. The bar downstairs is great and fun. Not just travellers but locals all hanging out. Great location, only a five minute walk from Big Ben and Westminster Abbey and the London Eye. Overall we had a great experience.

Disliked: Nothing really. Just remember, you have to like dorm style rooms.

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful and friendly; I could tell they cared and wanted me to have a good time during my stay with them. The hostel is also in a very central location which is great for seeing the sights. During my entire stay at the Walrus Waterloo I felt safe and like I was with friends, they went above and beyond any expectations I had! I can't wait to stay with them again!

Disliked: They did have a few flights of stairs, but luckily there staff was always there to help; I don't think I saw a traveller carrying their own bag during my stay with them.

Liked: Friendly bar downstairs

Disliked: Location is near train station so others in the room prefered to have the window closed during the night to block out the sound. Trade off is it got very very hot in the room.

Liked: There was a lovely rexlaxed atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and friendly and there were free towels and wireless. We arrived on the day of the Waterloo carnival so there was plenty going on in the ajoining beer garden.

Disliked: The matress was a little thin and left me with a sore back the next morning. It would be a good idea to have a picture of the pub above which the hostel is located as we walked by it a few times when we were trying to find it.

Liked: Walrus Waterloo was a VERY friendly place to stay. Staff is incredibly helpfull and Alex is OUTSTANDING. GREAT HOSTEL.
