Liked: The stunning location, the price, ancd the friendly staff.

Disliked: Rooms and loos were not very clean, beds were quiet noisy, there's no wi-fi connection in the upper floors, the almost constant noise from the near railway.

Liked: the rate

Disliked: Everyone was very hospitable and welcoming, however, being an older person, I was very uncomfortable with the accomodations. I feel it is more for the college age. I got what I paid for

Liked: Staffs were nice to give explanation on check-in in plain English. They accept key deposit charge by credit card. Breakfast is simple but good, and you can watch TV news during eating. Wifi in the room was nice. It was convenient that female washrooms were close to the room in which I stayed.

Disliked: The bar Walrus was easy to find, but some of people working at the bar seemed not knowing about the hostel very much. I stayed in a dorm for 16 people and couldn't open curtains or turn on lights (I'm not sure where there were) because some customers were sleeping. I managed with light from my laptop screen.

Liked: Excelent ubication, helpful staff, near ministry of sound, london eye, bigben.

Disliked: Too many people in the room, mattres very thin.

Liked: Not far away from westminster & london eye. Very close to tube station, pub downstairs.

Disliked: Next to the a railbridge, can be noisy (though trains don't travel after midnight or so).

Liked: Great staff, great atmosphere. What is there not to like

Disliked: Although there is a kitchen there is no social room you can use in case someone is resting in the room. There is of course the bar...

Liked: It was central in the city and close to most of the major city sites. All the staff were really helpful.

Disliked: While breakfast was provided, along with drinks, they didn't serve any juice. So if you don't like tea and coffee, I suggest that you bring some sort of juice with you.

Liked: Very good location. 10 min to walk to London Eye,Aquarium etc. Inside the hostel wasn't as I was expecting but for this price and in this location is luxus to comparison to other places. Hostel staff were very fiendly and helpful,hospitable and honest. I really enjoyed the time in London :-) I hope that I'll be back there soon!

Disliked: The train noises. However, if you are tired after all day you do not bother with any noises from the outside.

Liked: The staff is so nice and helpful. Toilets, baths and dorms are clean.

Disliked: the ony thing bad about this place, is the trains that are coming all the time right outside the windows.

Liked: I loved the staff, the most friendly I´ve ever met.

Disliked: Trains few meters from my head during sleep :-)

Liked: Free towel and earplugs (which I needed), nice staff who were helpful, free breakfast, close to two tubes (both on Bakerloo line), buses and within walking distance of South Bank. Little shops nearby were good, a post office, laundromat, etc. Good showers

Disliked: I ended up in a 16 bed dorm which I didn't think I booked, it wasn't very clean, pretty loud outside, not the nicest area down around Waterloo. Hard to find staff when the bar wasn't open (after midnight and weekends), tricky to check in on the weekend when my phone died, had to find a payphone to phone someone to get let into the hostel.

Liked: The manager, Alex, was very welcoming and helpful.

Disliked: Broken lock on locker. Worst pillow I've ever had (I had to use a towel as a pillow instead). The hostel is right beside a rail bridge.

Disliked: smelly in the room, tho the bar is good. The rooms in the hostel upstairs are not decent or clean at all.

Liked: In terms of the location to train station, it is the best place to live. The bar beneath is nice as well.

Liked: The ambiance, the staff and the location are very nice. One of the best hostels I've seen!

Disliked: There isn't a room where you can chill during the day. but that's a small. minor and definetly not a reason to avoid this hostel!

Liked: beyond excellent staff - Julia, James, & Harriet were just a few of the many friendly staff members who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at ease with our stay at the Walrus. location is really nice, on the south bank 5 mins from Westminister Bridge, London Eye, and Waterloo station. nice kitchen, personal showers, and comfy beds

Disliked: The location wasn't quite in the heart of the city but we just took the metro which was close by so it wasn't a real factor!

Liked: Loved the staff! So helpful and nice! It was just what we needed! I was so worried as it was my 1st time staying in a hostel. I would def stay here again. There wasn't anything to worry about with this one! Perfect location for the buses and the tube!
