Liked: Location is awesome to see the sights of London. The staff go out of their way to help you out with whatever you need! The trains were not a problem at all for us!

Liked: Had great stay here, the staff are great and always good for a chat and is just around the corner from the supermarket and waterloo stn. Will def be going back :)

Disliked: Only down fall would have to be how close to the train tracks it is, can get quite noisy sometimes but not really the hostels fault....

Liked: Staff so friendly and helpful. Location so convenient to the tube.

Disliked: Not a dislike, more an inconvenience - only two places to sit in the kitchen when eating.

Liked: Friendly staff, pretty well situated near to Waterloo Station. Nice friendly atmosphere.

Disliked: Well it wasn't The Ritz but I guess that's to be expected for the price. Can't say I was too impressed by the proximity of the trains wizzing by the kitchen window & therefore the noise. Also quite noisy with traffic & sirens during the night.

Liked: It was great value for money, in a perfect location and all the staff were very helpful.

Disliked: If i had to complain about anything it would be the squeaky beds but for the price you pay you can't really complain!

Liked: Good internet, free towel, amazing staff (really helpful), fantastic location, good breakfast. Overall it was awesome!

Liked: The location is fantastic. Being a 5 minute walk from Parliament is fantastic, with lots of great food around the South Bank that is cheap and easy.

Disliked: Nothing. The only possible dislike is the proximity to Waterloo Train Station, but the noise is minimal.

Liked: The people at this place are amazing, be it the owners, the staff or the customers. I missed my flight and had to cancel the room reservation for that night, Alex and Erin waived all the penalty charges for the reservation and even booked me into another larger room for the same price the next day when I arrived at Walrus. I'm really thankful for their understanding and flexibility. Apart from awesome people, the location of the hostel is unbeatable, with its nearness to the tube and various attractions. It's really near the train station and you can hear the trains all day and night but Walrus provides earplugs and remember to wear them to get a good night rest! Breakfast was a big plus too, there were cereal, milk, bread, drinks and various spreads to fill your stomach in the morning. Rooms are clean and comfortable with free towels. The hostel is also safe, there are lockers in the room for you to store your valuables. Keep up the good work Walrus! Cheers :)

Liked: Location! It was easy to get to from Heathrow, easy to find, and easy to see all the major sights in a short time! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Beds were a little uncomfortable. Also, it got really hot a stuffy in the room, so I opened the window more, which let more noise in from the street and trains. So make sure you have good earplugs!

Liked: The host was very helpful and very nice. Breakfast and wifi was good. Kitchen was well equipped. Close to train station and sights of attractions like Westminister Abbey, Big Ben, London Eye and Parliament

Disliked: Being close to the train station, the rooms are subject to noise from passing trains. Bed is a tad not comfortable but other than that, everything was fine.

Liked: Extremely close to lambeth north station making everything very accessable! also a few nice restaurants near the eye!

Disliked: bit pricey i thought for a hostel that was just basic! but it london i guess!!

Liked: One of the most helpful and friendly staff I have come across, very good location and a nice pub below.

Liked: good location, good breakfast which is free, lockers in dorms, kitchen, good staff.

Disliked: very small dorm rooms, old building which wasn't the cleanest, VERY creaky bunks.

Liked: we arrived and forgot our towels but thankfully the waterloo had some extras we could borrow. the staff was wonderful and super helpful. one night on our stay they gave free rounds at the bar. i would absolutely reccommend this hostel. it's right within walking distance to all the major attractions and close to good places to eat and supermarkets as well.

Disliked: the only thing would be the noise of the trains at night. but just bring earplugs if it is really that big of an issue. and quit being a baby. it's a nice place.
