Customer reviewAll staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome. The breakfast on offer was somewhat limited, but there were plenty of shops nearby along with kitchen facilities, and for the price we found it was very good value for money. Perfect for anyone wanting to go to the O2 arena, an easy bus trip down the road. |

Tom PottsI spent 7 nights at the Antigallican Hotel in May and June 2009, and left with a generally positive impression. At £11.99 per night for a bed in one of the dormitories, the Antigallican provides very cheap accommodation, by London standards. For that money, you get comfortable, clean rooms and facilities; a well-equipped kitchen; a common room with digital TV; and free internet via WiFi or the communal PC. Admittedly, the hot water was a bit unreliable whilst I was there, but I think they may have been having some plumbing problems at the time. The major downside is the location. You'll have to walk a couple of miles or take a bus to either find anything of real interest to the tourist, or to access the underground network. Probably the best way to get into central London from here is the National Rail service from Charlton station (a minute's walk from the Hotel), which will take you to Waterloo in about 20 minutes. |
