Ana IlievskaThe rooms are in a house, however they are very well looked after and fairly new. When you first get in front of the house you would think that is really bad looking, however, when you get inside its nice and warm place to stay. They have good kitchen and well equiped. Would recomend to couples or families. |

Elina Du RietzVery clean, simpel and modern, nothing special, the area is booring though, but you can walk to central London easily wich is good. My friends room key was gone when she arrived so she had to sleep in the kitchen, thank god we were there, I think she had a very different experience than us :( |

Andrea PinnaPros: pretty much clean for London, close to northern line. Cons: they accept only cash (that you must leave over the desk when you leave the room the first morning). It is NOT TRUE that the breakfast is included. I asked them to clear the misleading "free breakfast" field in the description, but they kept it on the website. |

Customer reviewGood location for transport - very close to tube station and lots of buses stop at the end of the road. There's also a shopping centre and some places to eat (Nandos) very close. The shared kitchen is good, although the 'breakfast included' was just a box of cornflakes in the kitchen, and we did not see 'the milk and continental selection in the fringe' for the 4 nights we stayed. There was also no cleaner for our room during that time, but it was clean when we arrived so that was fine. The rooms are a good size, with a double bed, desk/table, chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside cabinet (this may be different for other rooms though), and some also have TVs and a balcony. Wifi was £10 flat rate (although we were told a different price before and there was a different price on the sign in our room...). The staff are basically non-existent, so make sure you phone in advance to ensure the manager will be there when you arrive, otherwise your key will just be left outside the front door - not very secure or professional. This was by far the cheapest accommodation we found though, and it was good for what we paid. Very quiet - we shared the bathroom and kitchen with 2 other double rooms but barely saw anyone the whole time! I'd recommend it as long as you phone ahead and don't mind minimal staff presence. It'd be good if there was a group of 6 so you could rent out a floor. |

Travis Lodgeits close to everything with good transport links. The walls are paper thin. Access is gained by collecting your key out the front in the "guests only" box... No very secure. There is nothing to eat or buy on the area. It would suit a couple who only has a budget for Hostels as at least the rooms are private. The beds are TINY. Only just wide enough for 2 people. The white sheets were dirty and i dont think the bathroom was cleaned in our 3 days. At one stage we were locked out of the kitchen, and our food, by the caretaker so she could hold a business meeting. Elephant and castle is an horrible area but if you're out all of the time you wont notice. |
