Liked: location

Disliked: tiny bed, poor break fast. what the most annoying thing is bad internet connection. so many times wi-fi didnt work. :(

Liked: Cheap. Clean. Good atmosfare. Wireless Internet also in some of the rooms. Good couches.

Disliked: Not possible to adjust the temperature of the water in the shower. Out of towles, but they offered linen instead - for free. Bed is only 180 cm long, but ppl even 180 cm long won't have a problem with that.

Liked: its a naice place to stay in london,its confortable,clean,and i really feel so well. the kitchen is relly nice,and te only thing that i think could be include to be better,is to put lockers in each rooms

Liked: Good central location and cheap. Security on door late at night.

Disliked: Charge additional security deposits. Not that clean.

Liked: Price was great, linen was clean and the breakfast was passable.

Disliked: Showers were a bit of a pain in the backside and the room was pretty hot, but can't complain too much considering the price.

Liked: I could leave all my things in the room and they wouldn't get stolen. Of course, there was no space for them in the room except on my bed the entire time. But it was decently clean and decently quiet and decently cheap.

Disliked: They charged extra to pay with a credit card. You needed a £10 cash key deposit that they didn't warn me about. I couldn't connect to the WiFi for three days. They weren't near enough to pubs or anything like that. The rooms were TINY. And the staff weren't very friendly—some didn't even acknowledge your presence as you were standing there at the desk waiting to check in.

Liked: curtains on beds, free breakfast, cheap(ish) internet

Disliked: Lack of plug points in room. No individual lights for beds. Having to pay £1.50 a day for lockers.

Liked: The curtains on the beds, the big lounging area.

Disliked: Not enough chairs for the amount of people sitting around in the lounging area. And the internet there was barely working. And we went there 2 times, at the beginning of the month and the end and it was the same issue. And the internet is only accessible in the lounging area. The breakfast isn't great either.

Liked: Bedroom for 12 people was all quiet and nice, so you can sleep calm. Large kitchen and dining room. Good location, near British Museum.

Disliked: Beds are small (short), safety lockers small also, but didn't have problems with other stuff. WiFi was a bit moody, disappeared a few times, but came back later.

Liked: close to amenities (tube station around the corner), park, etc. Can be reasonably priced but you need to get in early. Read their description carefully so there will be no surprises. There is a kitchen to use, not advised on the website, limited, but still better than nothing.

Disliked: Read carefully what they tell you on the website, they explain their hostel well, and if you have read all the information you will be fully aware of what is on offer. Yes, the showers are a route march on the bottom floor, just as they tell you. Rooms can be a tad cramped, bunks in some rooms three high, and not a lot of floor space for luggage. Place is a bit of a rabbit warren, as with all old converted homes of this era.You are expected to leave luggage on your bed so they can clean properly, but few bother. general lack of power outlets in rooms (usually only two by the door, so it is difficult to charge a laptop overnight unless you have the bed next to the power). WiFi drops out often, bit of a nuisance. Despite all this I recommend Smart Russell as a place to stay, just be aware of these possible downsides.

Liked: The best location for my purposes. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Also i enjoyed my breakfast :)

Disliked: I had not enough time to find any disadvantages.

Liked: Very good location, hot water at any time, unlimited breakfast. A perfect hostel for an undemanding traveller who only sleeps in it.

Disliked: Some bugs, you can't really open windows in rooms, so gets stuffy at night

Liked: Friendly staff, though they were understandably busy. Location, of course, location - convenient for local facilities (shops, pubs) and a fairly easy walk into the centre of the city. Well maintained considering the high turnover of guests. Very reasonable breakfast for the price.

Disliked: Failure to note that Photo ID was required on any booking information -this should definitely be made very clear. A supposed age range of 16-60, though there were children as young as 5 staying while I was there.

Liked: The location was decent.

Disliked: Staff were generally unfriendly, no secure storage in the room, very crowded common areas (not enough space for everyone, regardless of time of day), and things like baggage storage and Internet weren't free.
