Liked: the price is so cheap and the location is good enough, there is a lot of students and schools.

Disliked: yo will have to pay 20GBP as a diposit during your stance, this deposit will be at the end returned, you have to pay for some facilities.

Liked: Free wifi in the hall

Disliked: We booked a 4 bed share room for two days (we were 3 people), and when we arrived, the hostel staff told us that we could not sleep together, because they haven't any free room for 3. One of us slept with a free bed on his room, really bad logistic!

Disliked: the bunk bed. if you got the top on you suffer most and may be disturbed people below.

Liked: Nothing.

Disliked: I've been in a number of hostels during my trips around Europe and this hostel was the worst to date. 9 dorm bedroom was so small, that initially I was wondering whether to laugh or weep over that. To get to the showers in the morning to get through a 2-leveled maze spanning ground floor and basement. TO get a key for showers locker you needed another key, which you can only get at a reception (and of course you need to deposit money to get it). Key lockers that were supposed to be present in rooms also came at additional price a night and were so small that you could not fit your luggage in there.

Disliked: too many people- you can't get sitting place in the common room or at breakfast small, crowded rooms too many stairs, showers in the lower basement, meaning that you have to go 5 levels down and almost get lost in the corridors

Liked: The curtains on each bed are great. Everything is cleaned 3 times a day. The security staff keep noise down to a minimum too.

Disliked: Breakfast a little basic, some staff are slightly rude, but dealing with skanky travellers must get annoying.

Liked: This is a very large property. The mains selling point of this is the location which is in walking distance of the tube station, conveniently located to a tesco express as well. The rooms are adequate. We stayed in a 6-bed dorm which consisted of 2 sets of triple bunk beds and a wash basin in the room. Lockers are located under the beds but these must be purchased before your key can be used otherwise they will lock and you will have to pay to remove anything you have placed inside. There is wifi for free for all guests who stay and desktop computers found in the reception area. The rooms are cleaned everyday between 1050-1500. Alcohol is not permitted in the rooms so if you wish to have a few drinks and socialise you have to go to the common room which is in front of reception.

Disliked: The showers are on the basement floor and take a bit of walking to . However, they are adequate. Each shower is a cubicle with a curtain. Most of the showers weren't working when I was there but I had no wait to find one which did work. Towels can be hired from reception.

Disliked: very busy, staff unattentive most of the times, very industrial feel to it - massive kitchen, massive communal showers etc., not very comfortable beds

Liked: The location can't be faulted- 2 minutes walk from Russell square. The curtains on the beds were also quite nice.

Disliked: Pretty much everything else about it was awful. This is not a good hostel. In general, there was no atmosphere, and it was far too crowded and unpersonal. There aren't enough seats for everyone in the common room so twice I had to eat standing up. The (communal) showers were miles away in the basement and were freezing cold each time I had one, and weren't clean. The breakfast was, for me, inedible- plastic cornflakes in tiny plastic bowls- no thanks! The wi-fi was awful and didn't work a lot of the time- extremely frustrating when you are trying to arrange important things on the net such as job/room applications, etc. Plus, hardly any power points to plug in your own laptop. There was no lift so if you have big bags or a lot of them you're going to be struggling. The worse thing about this hostel, by far, is the noise, which was literally 24/7 with people checking in and out all night, slamming the heavy fire doors and turning the lights on and off. So if your idea of a restful stay after a hard days treking round London is a hot shower and a peaceful sleep- best look elsewhere. Overall, the general feeling of the place is that they are far more concerned about making/saving money than they are about giving travellers a decent stay in London, which is a shame.

Liked: I think it's a nice place to go if you want to be really in the center of London and don't want to spend a lot of money! The hostel its a simple place, but clean and confortable!

Disliked: The breakfast is miserable and the beds are in three stages, which can be a problem

Liked: Privacy curtain.

Disliked: Hideous exchange rate, expensive towel for a cold shower (8usd), no usb port to charge ipod in the internet cafe, cramped and overcrowded common and dorm spaces, lights were off and on at all times of night, tiny bed (not to mention I slept with my luggage because I didn't trust it being 3 beds below me, yes triple bunkbeds). I was more than happy to check out early.

Liked: very conviniently located, everything was simple to use and the staff and residents were all very friendly.

Disliked: the heating was set a little high in the dormatry I stayed in... nothing too bad though.
