The Orient Espresso is something a little bit different in the St Christopher's trio of London Bridge hostels. It is also the home of the Oasis - a female only sanctuary with more of the creature comforts from home. Spaces at the Oasis are limited so be sure to book now.

Just because you are staying in a hostel does not mean you should be deprived of a good night's sleep. The Orient Espresso is the perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing visit to this great capital city. The hostel is above a funky little coffee shop and upstairs you will find quiet, invitingly clean and comfortable room.

When you need to refuel before tackling more of the must-see sights, pop downstairs for some great coffee, fantastic food and a quick chat with our friendly baristas. At the Orient, you also get a free breakfast, five minutes down the road at the Village.

Other hostel facilities include a free travel library, complimentary chess in the coffee shop and Internet access in the cyber café. The rooms on offer include a 2 bed female dorm, a twin private room, a 4 bed female dorm, an 8 bed mixed dorm and an 8 bed female only dorm.

A short 5-minute walk will take you to the Thames River and a scenic Southbank walk. This takes you past the picturesque Tower Bridge, the stoic London Tower, the infamous Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the weirdly wonderful Tate Modern Gallery. Also en route you will come across the National Film Theatre, the London Eye, the Salvador Dali Museum, the London Aquarium and finally Westminster Bridge. This short 45-minute stroll leaves you at the Parliament Buildings, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben.

If you do not want to do it all in one go you can always stop off at one of the many bars, pubs and restaurants. The variety is wide enough to suit any palate and budget. One of our favourite pit stops is Giraffe, not far from the London Eye.

There's so much to see and do in London and the odds are that you could spend an entire year here and still not tick everything off your to do list. However, give it your best go and at the end of the day when you are exhausted, you will be happy to come home to St. Christopher's. Our comfortable chill-out room was built with this in mind so that you people could catch up on your journaling or curl up in front of a good movie.

Please be aware that you must show a photo I.D when you arrive. We only accept Passports or a Driving License as I.D.
Guests under the age of 18 years of age must stay in a private room with guardians; they cannot share in general dormitory rooms with persons that are not part of their own group or family. Fewer than 18s are not allowed the bars or pubs.

Cancellation policy: if you do not turn up for the first night, the amount of 1st nights will be charged to your credit/debit card and all other reservations/nights will be cancelled.
