Liked: Pretty clean, the bathrooms on 2nd level were pretty dirty, but there is a big stall of showers on the 3rd floor which were always pretty clean... I guess no one knows about them as they aren't well signposted.

Disliked: Noisy with rooms right by the road and above the courtyard for the bar.

Liked: Safety was ok.

Disliked: I wasn't sure that my sheets were clean.. It was really noisy, so if you are looking for a place to sleep, don't go in here! If you're are a party animal, this is your place! It's almost impossible to sleep even with earplugs on. Too many people in one room.

Liked: The location was nice; there are probably only 3 bars in the area, and this one was just downstairs. The staff was really helpful, and I felt completely safe leaving my items in the locked storage while I was romping around London!

Disliked: The food in the bar was not good. Nobody ever said it would be, but for what I paid, I would have liked a little better quality. Morning breakfast consisted of cereal, instant coffee which was so terrible, and toast using the most touchy toaster in the entire world - everything burned! Word of the wise: If you're looking for quality food, don't go here. And do not attempt the coffee.

Liked: Good showers and a friendly staff. The location is just fine because it's so close to the tube central line. Nice quiet breakfast where you can watch tv if you wish. A fine hostel for young travellers.

Disliked: The cards didn't work every night.

Liked: 4 min away walk from Sheperd Bush empire! Unexpectedly great for the value I have paid for (£10 - 8 ppl shared rooms), and this include the toasts/cereal for breakfast! Staffs is very helpful and friendly, bed is clean. All guests were really nice and entertaining interesting people as far as I can see. Fun night!

Disliked: Bigger and more shower rooms probably be great! Also maybe the sign/banner saying that the hostel reception is actually at the Bellushi's bar :D

Liked: The location was great, as we were going to Hyde Park and the underground was just across the road, in a very nice area, friendly staff, nice bar, clean rooms.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: I could access the wireless internet in my room. The staff was really friendly.

Disliked: They did not have many lockers to store your things in as extra luggage storage. I was unable to leave my suitcase there because there was no space available.

Liked: The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The bar was a good place to meet others and have a beer or two after a long day. Mike, one of the bartenders was always to recommend good drinks and came up with an interesting pub quiz on Monday night.

Disliked: Overall the hostel was excellent, but it is a little far from central London, However it is straight accross the road from the tube station. So no negative comments about this hostel.

Liked: Big single beds, great pub

Disliked: Small rooms, window was broken in my bedroom, showers been refurbished so that was only one shower for everybody... huge queue.

Liked: Despite the fact that the rooms are directly above the bar they're actually really quiet and make for good sleepy-times. The showers also had plenty of hot water, though the push-button-ness of them was annoying. Free wifi in the bar was also a bonus.

Disliked: Nothing really.

Liked: Location is pretty good, breakfast included in the price, common room. Wifi in the rooms and bar. Bar downstairs is not bad.

Disliked: Minor detail but swipe card to get into the room did not always work.

Liked: Clean & easy to find. Look to the right as you come out of tube station - not the left - hostel is right in front of you across the road, above Belushi's.

Disliked: Bottle delivery, for the bar/pub downstairs, is extremely early in the morning. Woke us, but luckily got to sleep again.

Liked: Breakfast was good, as in nice bread and decent sized mugs for tea and coffee. Nice place to eat it.

Disliked: Showers / toilets not en-suite, but it was no problem, not too crowded and they are cleaned every morning. Shower smelled a little of damp but it was no biggie.

Liked: not overly cramped like some london hostels

Disliked: typical london hostel in age. No bathrooms as such, just banks of toilets and cubical showers. Cant even put a washbag down anywhere! Could do with a bitof a refurb, the beds were just ok. dont book the 4 beds, they will put you in a 6 bed and not give you a refund anyway

Liked: It is one of the cheapest hostels I've stayed at and it was definately one of the best ones as well.

Liked: good bar downstairs and good bars nearby, close to tube station

Disliked: not too much at all, nothign major
