Peter CerovskyIt was really a nice place, great value for such a price and without any bigger problems or negative aspects. Only the location is not the best one, but after some tricks you can get everywhere you want. |

Matthew EardleyThe place itself is nice, private rooms with your own television, breakfast is decent and the building is nice, but the beds are a little uncomfortable. London is easy to get to from the Lodge, the bus stop is right outside and it takes you just about anywhere you need to go. The place itself is safe, but I saw some colourful characters at the bus stop a few times, and one or two couples yelling at eachother. It is worth the money if you arent planning on spending night after night drinking in the center of town or if you are travelling with a few friends, but it isnt the best to meet people. |

Raquel SigueroThe most important fact is that it IS cheap. What do people expect for that money? In fact, it was quite better than I expected. Breakfast may be poor, but it's include in the price and al least you can have some cereal with milk or toasts. It's true you can hear all the air traffic in London, but it's not really annoying and you can sleep perefectly well. Moreover, there are some restaurants (Burger King, Subway) very near, or a supermarket if you want to eat cheaper, and you can keep the food in the fridge. So, don't worry about the critics, it's a nice place to stay, not the best, of course, but it's ok for visiting London during a week. |

Emmanuel JoubaudContrary to what many people say, Peckham Lodge is a very pleasant place to stay, especially at this price and this close to London's center. The hotel looks lovely and is in a pleasant neighboorhood, ensuite rooms have a fridge and a cooker, staff is globally very nice and helpful, there is a (dirty though) kitchen accessible to anyone with a microwave, Wi-fi in the rooms, many buses to go from/to anywhere in London night and day... Negative points : You can hear planes taking off every 5 minutes during the day (not that noisy but can be disturbing to some people), poor breakfast choice (like any cheap hotel I've been in in England, not better, not worse) ending early (9:30 am) But really, at this price and with the people's comments, I wasn't expecting a so pleasant place at all ! |

Customer reviewThey weren't too strict about their breakfast time of 7:30-9:30 and the room was plain and simple, it was all clean and the beds were comfortable but the room was EXTREMELY unsettling because we got a basement room that was very dark and stuffy(due to its lack of a window!) and we were always at loss to what time it was. The lodge is completely inaccessible because there are steps up to the main door and no lifts for the floors. On a cheerier note, the staff were truly friendly and helpful as was the general trend in London. Without people like them, we wouldn't have found our way around at all! |
