Liked: The property was very clean and well-maintained. I felt very safe while in the hostel, which was important since I was a solo traveler. The hostel also provided a free breakfast, which was simple but nice.

Disliked: The internet was only accessible in the dining room and game area; it would have been nice to have access to it in the bedroom as well.

Liked: It was very well located and very clean.

Disliked: The property is far from the station, the stairs were very inconvenient to get the luggage up and the staff was not very friendly.

Liked: - nice lounge with tv and internet cafe included

Disliked: - breakfast was really miserable compared to other hostels in London i already know - staff told us wrong information (no bus between hostel and bus shuttle station the airport -> had to take an expensive cab to get there in time, otherwise we would have missed our flight!!) - only staff from other countries, no citizens (citizens often know their own city better)

Liked: This hostel has to be recommended because of very friendly staff, nice and clean rooms and a perfect initial position to visit this wonderful city! For my three days, it was like my home!Greetz

Liked: Astor Hyde Park was such a great hostel!! I was so surprised at how nice the building was! It's in a very good area, even though it's a bit of a walk from the closest Tube station. Everything was so clean. The free breakfast was good, and I was really happy that the room had an ensuite. Great value for money too!I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Disliked: The only negative thing about this hostel is its distance from the closest Tube station, which can be a hassle if you have to carry your luggage. But apart from this small thing, it's wonderful!

Liked: Arrived at 3.30am after a late flight. Was easy to find, checkin was friendly and easy - all important when you're knackered. Didn't do much more here other than sleep, but everything was good. Clean, comfortable. Friendly french people in my room. Lounge was always packed, which is a good sign.

Disliked: All pretty good, but would be better if internet was free.

Liked: Nice area, close to Hyde Park. Helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Great common room. Good breakfast.

Disliked: Bit far from train station, fast 10 min walk. No lifts and lots of stairs. No individual bed lights so easy to wake up your room mates as you had to turn on the room lights coming in. Toilets could be cleaner. Shower head poor - water was coming out at all the wrong directions. WIFI and common computers pretty slow.

Liked: There's a great lounge, with free wifi access, computers you can pay to use if you don't have a laptop, a TV, and tons of comfy couches and chairs. The staff often show movies there during the evenings. The rooms are nice, with clean sheets on the beds and daily cleaned bathrooms. The rooms are all key-card access, and it always feels safe and secure.

Disliked: The breakfast is very pick-it-up-yourself, and you must clean your own dishes, as well as using just-rinsed dishes from other people, who sometimes don't fully clean everything off.

Liked: The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was friendly. Quite place.

Disliked: The stairs! My buddy and I were on the 4th floor and since this is a historical building (which is cool), there is no elevator! 4 floors dont seem like much, but these are large floors and dragging up my bag after wandering around europe was pretty agonizing. If you book, try to get on a low floor unless you like hiking.

Liked: Great and extremely safe location.Good and helping staff.Lovely and really pretty blonde girl at reception.Very clean, spacious, good decorated with woodfloor and with a great atmosphere.The breakfast was very good.Roommates were really kind, very good and civilizated people.I want to come back.Cheers from Spain.
