Bethany SmithAbsolutely gorgeous old but very nicely renovated building in a very centrally located and rather posh part of London. Spic and span, eager, friendly and helpful staff, great kitchen facilities, really nice big lounge with a huge TV and comfy seats, etc. We stayed in a room with huge windows and a balcony overlooking the street. Seriously I would include staying at this hostel in a list of beautiful things you must experience in London. The price for the location and services is quite reasonable as well. A couple minutes walk from the Gloucster Rd. tube terminal as well, which is very nice. Downsides: the room with the windows has no shades, so the light shines in and street noises carry. Power outlets are a bit scarce. The room we stayed in had none at all. However, the hostel is renovating, so I don't know what further improvements are planned. |
