Liked: The rest of the staff were nice ansd polite.The bloke on reception offered me a free bottle of water which the girl said i had to pay for!!I asked for a refund and gt out of there as quick as possible.. She was very lucky!! Not to mention lugging all my bags up them stairs to the top floor.

Disliked: The girl on reception with glasses was by far the worst character i have met in my entire life... and considering i travel to different countries every month, thats saying something. To say she was rude would be an understatement, i was in and out within 10 mintutes The room was atleast 40degrees and when i complained... she simply asked am i on antibitoics... no im not, you cheeky mare.. the room was bloody awful!! So no, i would not rate this hotel... simply for the sake of her!! Get her of the main point of meeting!! Not a wise move for any business. First impressions count!!

Liked: I have absolutely nothing bad to say. Clean, nice place to stay, good breakfast considering the price, location really great. A bus straight to Trafalgar Square like 200m from doorstep! Stairs to the 4th floor gave a nice daily workout though (hopefully you'll get situated at lower floors, especially if you have heavy baggage :P). :D Also, spacey rooms, considering the price etc.

Liked: I had some a few hours there but I liked it. The area is fine and the staff very friendly. The only bad thing is that my room was on the 3rd floor! !! and there are only stairs but the reception boy offered to take my luggage to my room, very kind of him!

Liked: the location is not bad. Close to pimlico tube station and 10-minute walking distance to victoria coach station. But the room is a bit to small toaccomodate 6 people. There is no lift ,and no locker in the room. Not bad but can have better choice

Liked: I stayed there for two nights but never got the key of my room. The reception told me other guests didn't return the key and they're going to copy another one asap, however, I didn't get the key throughout, so I had to knock the door or went to downstair to have the reception open the door for me. Their attitude was good but it's really unconvenient. Also, you need to keep pressing the button for hot water coming out while taking a shower, not handy at all...

Liked: It's a huge factory-type hostel, which isn't always the best for meeting people. There's lots of partying so it seems like a good place to be social and meet people if you are into that but maybe not so much for the sober crowd. Because it's a party hostel I encountered several groups of people who weren't as considerate and turned on the lights and made noise in bedrooms at 2am; this is not the hostel's fault but I'm guessing this is typical behavior for their clientele. That said, the staff were friendly, the location was good (very safe for a women traveling alone and not too far a walk from many sights), and the price was unbeatable. I'd stay here again.

Liked: amazing staff, great breakfast, perfect location and just generally the best Hostel I've stayed in, this being my second longer stay within a year. Will def. always come back here when I'm in London.

Liked: It's a good place, some persons of the staff were very kind but not all. The athmosphere wasn't better than other places. But the location is great and the breakfast too. It's a clean and safe hostel.

Liked: the hostel is near Victoria station which is very good since we can do a lot of things without necessarily taking the bus or the tube. That staff was very nice, helpful and friendly! Morning breakful was very good and complete: bread, ham, cheese, cereals, coffe, milk,, jams, toasters etc, but orange juice would be appreciated ;)It's a shame we have to pay for wi-fi though. And maybe individual lockers could be more practical than the room where everyone put its bags.Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would probably go there again for a future trip to London

Liked: Location was great. The bathrooms were decent. I did not like that you had to pay 5pounds to borrow a lock and you only get 2 pounds back. or if you borrow a towel you have to pay 3 pounds and only get one pound. To me this hostel had way too many extra charges for locks, towels and internet (8 pounds for 4 days) and was a bit a expensive on a student budget. Also, we had no place to go after 130am to use our computer while other ppl slept no lounge to hangout pass 130am.

Liked: Awesome staff - they were very helpful and friendly. I liked them a lot, for example they helped us getting on the right bus home.The location was really good, it took us not even 10 minutes to get to the nearest tube station. (If you do not want to walk there is a bus.) I think that this is cheapest hostel you can find whit this good location. If you stay at Astor Victoria you also have the benefit of getting really good tips on what to do, and to a reduced price. Just because we stayed there we could go on a FREE sightseeing tour. It was really great and you got to see a lot. We also went to a club that the hostel recommended, and just because we stayed there we only had to pay 6 £ entry instead of 18 £. That's awesome! Astor Victoria is definitely the best hostel you can get, and it is very cheap to. It's clean and homelike. You get free breakfast containing toast, milk, coffee or tea and cereals. If you want to cook your own dinner the kitchen is open until 10pm. You can use the kitchen as much as you want to, as long as you do your dishes. If you're going to London, stay at Astor Victoria!
