Liked: It's close to everything! Right next to Piccadilly Circus, and from there you can walk to basically every tourist attraction. If you're in London to party it also seems like a good place to stay at. The beds are quite comfy as well.

Disliked: The bathrooms on at least some of the floors are both tiny (no place to out your clothes, no place to change) and a bit dirty. Some rooms ar very tiny as well. This is a hostel for loud people going out every night, so it's not really a place to stay at if your looking for some sleep cause there will be peolpe running and screaming in the corridor every night.

Liked: the best location in london! the only reason to stay here

Disliked: A few simple changes could improve this place A LOT! the room we stayed in had a blind but it did not block out any light at all so the room was bright all night from the outside lights and sunlight. The rooms were also extremely muggy and hot even with the window open, a fan would help! A door in the bathroom would be nice for a bot more privacy, and a bench to put clothes on. Also the staff could have been a bit friendier..not make phone calls midway through talking to you!

Liked: The location was excellent, a short walk from Leicester square and the theatre (we went to see Les Miserables at Queens theatre, 5 min walk). Right next to Piccadilly tube station. Very friendly staff.

Disliked: Rooms were very basic, even for a hostel (I have stayed in many). I booked a double room for me and a friend, there was a bunk bed, that was it. A chair would have been handy for our things, a little mirror would have been great! The "safe" was tiny and didnt look that secure. The Clink hostel in London has lock ups under the beds for bags/rucksacks which is really handy & makes you feel better leaving your things. But, its a hostel! Its meant to be basic & cheap, which it was!

Liked: Pod beds were interesting and provided a bit of privacy, unlike normal bunk beds where everyone can see what everyone else is doing. Also, location was near to central parts of London for shopping and partying.

Disliked: New paint smell in the pod beds.. Quite overpowering. One of the taps in the girl's toilets on the 3rd floor wasn't working. Lifts were quite small and took a long time to arrive so be prepared to just take the stairs. Otherwise, not too bad.

Liked: The location was great, close to restaurants and bars.

Disliked: The lack of cleanliness in this over-populated hostel. There were also too many young children and often young boys were in the female bathrooms. there were only shower curtains and no locking doors for the showers. these shower curtains were mould ridden. the shower did not drain so everyone's dirty shower water was puddled around your feet while you are trying to get clean. i had booked a 4 bed female dorm and a man was in our room.

Liked: I LOVED THIS PLACE!! Seriously, it is BAM central picadilly and its a 2 min walk anywhere. The staff were great, always saying hi and chatting away. Fortunately my friend and i were put in a room with some great people which always helps. its great if you're there for a night out in the big town! Everything about this place is great. I'll definately be staying here from now on when i go to london!

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: The location right off piccadilly square.

Disliked: The rooms were horrible, a hostel in the nineties may have gotten away with those, but nowadays even budget travelers expect a minimum of comfort. Some of the staff was very grumpy. They charge for absolutely everything, even using their cloak room on the day of your checkout costs you one pound per bag. The elevator rarely works how it should, so you end up having to walk 7 flights of stairs several times a day. The women's bathroom on the 7th floor was very dirty and the toilet always clogged. The windows in the rooms don't have window panes or any other type of curtain, just a see-through piece of fabric you pull down, which does absolutely nothing to darken the room, so we woke up every morning at 5 bathed in sunlight.

Liked: i like it because it is in the center of the city.

Disliked: How come they only have 2 toilets and only one is working and 2 showers for how many people.Those who are staying in 7th and 8th floor are using those toilets disgusting isn't it?and we have to go down to use toilets and showers coz were in 8th floor.I book for a private room but my god i never expected that it is a private room unlike the previous hotel that i stayed before.We are the one to fixed the bed they just give us linens and one more no towels and tissue how come it is a private room?I pay for £310 for 4 nights but it was a nightmare.Honestly i never enjoyed staying there.I have to wait for an hour before i can used the toilets and showers which i never experience before in other hotel.No coffee or milk inside the room and its hot during the night.

Liked: The location was superb for exploring central London.

Disliked: This is NOT the place to stay if you want a good night's sleep. It was very noisy, but then that is to be expected when considering the location. Very strangely, we couldn't find a powerpoint anywhere in the room hence we couldn't charge our phones or camera batteries. This isn't acceptable. Also one bathroom per floor leads to absolute chaos.

Disliked: We stay in a 8th floor without toilletes, and the next toillete in a 7th doesn't work.... terryble! The need a space for make our meals. A little expensive, because the hostel it's poor.

Disliked: You get what you pay for, the mattress wasn't great, the room (and linen) was dirty and it was noisy, but I only use a hostel to sleep as I explore a city for myself so was fine for what I needed - so long as you don't have high expectations, its fine

Liked: Excellent location

Disliked: Very very dirty! The bathrooms are terrible and so dirty. It's so expensive and you also have to pay the breakfast and the internet.
