Liked: Not so hard to find, between two tube stops (different lines!), best duvet ever even though the bed was a bit rickety - but not unsafe. 4 pints for a tenner, and a fledgling library.

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Disliked: The bathrooms and other public areas were not clean.

Liked: Staff are somehow helpful. The location is quite convenient to the central London.

Disliked: The room is not clean enough with a smell. The shared washroom is not decent all the time.

Liked: more space in bar and good breakfast, faster wifi connection

Disliked: not comfortable beds - so hard, rooms small for 9 peoples no space, every day dirty toilets - even daily cleaning, very small kitchen, not working TV in TV ROOM, peoples cannot be in bar when dont have drink - so just watching TV or use laptop is forbidden, cannot recommend this hostel for price 11 pounds per day can found better place

Liked: The staff was ok.

Disliked: Not clean bathrooms, everything was wet, beds reallz bad, windows hard to open, not that near the centre as it should be.

Liked: It's close to the tube station, and close to Oxford street, so we could also walk. Staff was helpful, and our 2-dorm room was ok. Toiletts and showers were also ok.

Disliked: Loud guests who were slamming the doors alll night. All in all place was not really clean, but it was bareable (for that price, escpecially).

Liked: Nice room-spacious and bright. The bathrooms had unique decoration more like a hotel, and best shower ever!-can change the temperature, good pressure

Disliked: TV room in the basement was not very relaxing (also no tv programs but only dvds) and smelt a bit mouldy. Kitchen could be better-it's dark and small.

Liked: location was pretty good

Disliked: everything. staff not kind and only fake friendly. on top bunk extremely close to ceiling, always hit my head. mattress stinky and old. have to do own sheets. no electricity in morning one day.

Liked: Check-in member of staff was helpful and showed me to my room.

Disliked: The bed mattress was terrible. I barely slept as a result. The mattress was just old and worn out - the springs dug into your back - and if you moved a little, the entire bunk bed frame and mattress would make loud creaking noises, potentially waking the others sleeping in the room (and of course, their bunks made the same noises).

Liked: This is a very good located hostel with helpful staff, good kitchen equipment. A simple breakfast and linnen are included. It's clean and you'll allways have hot water. I've met great people here. I would recommend it for backpackers or basically everyone being low on budget.

Disliked: The tv room in the basement (the only common place except the bar) is cold.

Liked: the staff very nice. There was good map in the hall. The location is quite good, especially if you are using the EasyBus because its stop is an easy less than 10 min walk away. There is a market street (Church Street) that is not touristy and has some good food stalls.

Disliked: It may be a bit unfair to comment on Brazen backpackers where I only stayed one night and left early (before breakfast), after I'd stayed in a "boutique" hostel in London that was full on my last night. That one was one of the best ones I've ever stayed at. After that, Brazen would have a hard time to shine anyway. But compared to many other hostels I've stayed in, also in cities, this one was not very clean, 3 -level metal (Ikea style= shaky) bunks with stained matresses and hairs on the duvet. I had a feeling that it doens't get cleaned very well, it sure didn't look like it had been renovated this year, the walls and the edge of the floor were very dirty, and the floor in the hall had many dirt spots. It was also a pity that you couldn't just sit in the pub (the only comfortable common room with Wifi) during the soccer match unless you purchased a drink.

Liked: The staff was wonderful I really enjoyed my stay. Nice pub downstairs.

Disliked: It is a cheap hostel so you get what you pay for. It isn't super clean there are some inconveniences but nothing really bothering. Depends on your approach I guess.

Liked: Free breakfast is always something rare and appreciated as well as the kitchen. I walked to all the major tourist sites and the bar is very well priced.

Disliked: The toilets were constantly clogged.

Liked: Wifi internet, good pub downstairs, free breakfast, good location, swipe card access 24 hours, lockers in the rooms (only small ones). free linen and towels. Staff helpful and flexible

Disliked: mainly only 9 bed dorm options, 3 tier bunks (normal for london though), mattressess were pretty uncomfortable... i got bruises on my back from the springs, bathrooms were not particularly clean

Liked: The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and the confortableness of the showers. It's a good hostel if you use the hostel as a house when you work in London.

Disliked: Sometimes the atmosphere was too much queit, it was difficult met with the other guests. The beds are noisy not really confortable.
