Liked: there was a kitchen and wifi throughout the building. the breakfast was alright. everyone was pretty friendly.

Disliked: the toilets was really nasty sometimes, but i guess it was more to do with the guests. the common room was located downstairs in a tiny dungeon, which i don't think anyone used.

Liked: Cheap price, location. Staff were all extremely helpful.

Disliked: Beds were pretty average. They seemed very flimsy. If one person moved, everyone else felt it.

Liked: I felt my stuff was safe, as I would work early and finish late, I could not keep an eye on my things. However, everything was as expected. I expected to be staying in a dingy un-clean hostel, however, I found it clean and amazing for the price too. Having 3 separate shower cubicles meant you could get showers whenever you needed and have the privacy to change after, if like me you had to be up early in the mornings and needed the light, and somewhere you could make noise without waking up others.

Disliked: The fact that because I was up early, there was only one main light in the room, so I would get up in the dark and be fumbling around (as everyone else would be asleep) and the same would happen when I got back from work as it would be late(ish.) It would have been a lot better if there had been small lamps or light that weren't so bright, as Im sure a lot of other people have this trouble. The beds were also very squeaky, I found it hard to sleep when people were fidgeting in bed, and they felt very unsafe when people would be clmbing in above you. Also, I am quite tall, but not massively, and found climbing into the beds very difficult, there were many a mornings I would wake up bruised from the metal poles from climbing in.

Liked: If you need a hostel just for sleeping and not for relaxing or somethingelse it's perfekt. It's next to the undergrondstation.

Disliked: The bed was very uncomfortable.

Liked: Really lovely staff and actually 5 minutes from the stations as promised so useful as location.

Disliked: It really wasnt as bad as I'm going to make it sound but there were a few issues. Lots of stairs since warned if you have a lot of luggage like me. The atmosphere wasn't great but I don't know if that was just my room. The sheets were kept behind the bar so not the cleanest but fine. Beds were not so comfy and 3 beds high so pretty rickety. 2 slats from my bed fell out just from me shifting around slightly and on to the girl in the bed below... I mean for the price it's fine especially coz of the staff and location but yeah.

Liked: This hostel is definitively for young people, every morning great music at the pub downstairs. People and staff were really nice, and also the kitchen for the travellers. Breakfast is also okay.

Disliked: The bathroom is rather narrow. One toilet (of two) and one sink (of two) didn't work, the sink got fixed but not the flush of the toilet. Although everything got cleaned everyday, it still seemed a bit dirty. There's also no real space for changing, it's a bit of an acrobatic act ;)

Liked: Location was excellent, right next to the Edware Train station, free wifi, and basic breakfast, and linen - bed sheets are clean. Emily - Staff that works behind the counter of the pub, was super friendly and helpful and an asset to the hostel/pub. Will make sure I email the hostel direct and pass that feed back on Emily...... she was a great help to me!!

Disliked: The tv room in the basement has no atmosphere and would never use it to eat in. There needs to be a more central chill out area, I spent alot of my time in the pub which is the hostel. Because there is no real chill out area when you can eat and lie down on a couch etc...... so everyone hangs out in the bedrooms, which means if you want to sleep, you can't till at least 12pm or 1am in the morning.... so make sure you have eye mask and ear plugs.

Liked: nice and helpful staff. Very close to the tube. Cheap.

Disliked: Storage cupboards were way too small. Bare enough for a messengerbag of average size. Location is based around a pub, which may not be to everyone's taste.

Liked: location was nice and close to the underground with nice resturants and pubs around. its great they have a kitchen if you want to make your own food.

Disliked: the beds were broken and uncomfortable. the rooms were very over crowded

Liked: There is a great bar and you can buy a cheap and tasty meal.

Disliked: The kitchen was disgusting and the bathroom was dirty, no toilet paper when I went to use it in the morning. I didn't have high expectations because it was so cheap but the beds are very creaky and uncomfortable. Pay 3-4pounds extra a night and stay some where a bit better.

Disliked: Toilets and showers weren't very clean, i din't even use the shower because it was to dirty.

Disliked: Unironed sheets that were stored behind the pubs bar, beds were shaking and broken, the kitchen was dirty and there was no space for sitting down,thats why people started to cook and eat in the rooms.the bathrooms were really dirty,moisty and the showers were mouldy.there were no handdryers or papersheets as well.the computer for the internet was broken.breakfast offer was ok,but the tables and dishes were dirty too.unfortunately I can't recommend this hostel although the location was good and the price per night is cheap.

Liked: i stayed there in September 2011, and i found out, the staff is very super nice to me and to everyone, they are, in fact, very helpful and willing to help your and listen to your problems. With the low price like this ( about 11€) you can't find out anywhere cheaper and mor worth, more value for money than this hostel, everything is very nice, breakfast is simple but we can't require more, because of the low price like that! First time when i read the old review, I thought that there are bed bugs, but when I arrived, it's okie, and every thing is clean, of course, it can't be like a 5-star hotel, but for a good price and near central, this hostel is a big value. THai Food is delicious, Bathroom is a little bit small, but it's okie, it's clean enough and the shower warm enough for me to take a shower. ( before i thought that i can't have a bath because according to the old reviews say that it's very dirty, but i found out it' s clean, and every thing is okie Kitchen is surprise to me, because i can cook by myself and, i can have free bowl to use, to eat noodle, microwave to buy the food outside and can save money for everything. in Conclusion, I think i will come back and stayed again

Disliked: my neighbours are very impolite, i stay in female dorm but these girls are not kind to their roomates. the best that we should stay just 4 bed. That's okie and great.
