Fantastic location. Great security. One of the cleaniest places I've been to. It's a bit institutional but they have a great set up in the lobby with the cafe etc. Internet was a bit expensive.

Noisy people in the dorm next door . Loud music in the lounge all the time It said in the directions that you have to turn left in the end , but instead you have to turn right.

Great location. It's right next to the Tube. The only problem with this hostel was that the showers did not have good water pressure.

Cleanliness. Locality. It could do with a little more privacy, maybe adding add on some curtains that can be drawn for each individual bunk.
6 October 2008
Good location and a large kitchen at the basement.

This hostel IS what Piccadilly Backpackers WANTS to be. Friendly, hip, artistic, brightly colored, etc. The beds are CLEAN (no bugs or lint) the staff is funny and helpful, and the neighborhood is both centralized and quiet enough to get some good sleep. I met a lot of nice people, had a lovely time in their cafe and in their self catering kitchen. Downsides: There was no place to securely store my large suitcase, the elevator was confusing and remains a possible security problem, the ensuite showers have no edge, so when showering water seeps all over the bathroom. Otherwise, one of the best hostels I've stayed at, and I've been all over Europe.

Very friendly and helpfull staff, clean room, veeery large and all mod cons in kitchen, large living room... Everything was great in this hostel... I only don't like that we have to share a small room/shower with a lot of people...

Completely new and modern with stylish interior. Only opened in Feb 2008. Staff were very friendly and the cafe was a great place to hang out with very reasonable Breakfast Deal. Large Underground map at the hostel entrance very helpful. 4-bed dorm in which I stayed very clean and the people I shared with were all very friendly. Close to Express Tesco too for cheap food.

The beds were very comfortable, place was very clean and the staff were helpful. I really liked the social area.
3 September 2008
The showers had hot pressure water, there was secure lockers, and heaps of power points in the hostel dorm rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, I really enjoyed there being a cafe/bar on the premises.

The brand new establishment. It's only 4-beds room & some even comes with an ensuite. I don't usually stay at a hostel but I will definitely go back to YHA London Central in the future and recommend this to anyone who appreciate clean, safe & friendly hostel.
