Not quite the area we expected. It's definitely not in Greenwich. Just 5 mins walk from New Cross station.

The staff, and their connections to derrick, the taxi driver! There should be more wall sockets though, and maybe some more hooks in the bathroom, for clothes and towels.

The staff here were wonderful and looked out for our comfort during our stay. The hostel isn't in the center of London, but close access to the rail line make it quite easy to get around. I would highly recommend a travel card (week or even day) on an oyster card to make the most of the commute. I wish there was more of a place to sit down and work (free WIFI) instead of the downstairs bar, but that's it — we were happy!

The staff at this hostel is very friendly and always willing to help. The dorms are kept really clean and the beds are very comfortable. We were with a big group coming late every night and there was never a problem. The staff gave us a code for the doors so we could come in and out whenever we wanted. We were loud and no one complained or anything. I would say it is a bit further away from what they said in the website, but it's still ok. If you're planning to travel with a group, this is a great place to stay. You should go for a drink at the bar downstairs!

Especially the friendliness, flexibility and warm human hearts of the staff members I met. They will always find a place for you, even if it's very difficult. Felt very much at home.
