Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Not a very safe neighborhood. Located above a bar and the MUSIC WAS PLAYING UNTIL 7 AM AND WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP!

Liked: The beds were clean!

Disliked: The breakfast was just crap, with the unfrienliest staff ever! The rooms were small, showers and bathroom facilities even smaller and not very clean.

Liked: convenient location to get to o2 arena, very friendly staff and people around. dormitory rooms, so great for meeting new friends. wonderful clean bedding

Disliked: was being decorated, so the smell of strong paint made me feel ill, also no curtains, so room was rather light

Liked: As a solo traveler I felt that it was very secure. There are password locks on both the entrance door as well as the room door. Lockers are provided to secure belongings. I was surprised at how comfortable the beds were also. The people I met here were amazing- definitely made some memories. Will definitely come back!

Disliked: There really isn't anything bad I can say. If anything sharing the bathrooms, but that's just because I am slow and take forever to get ready : /

Liked: Not much, price was ok but still not value for money.

Disliked: It was so noisy at night that I hardly slept the 2 nights I was there. Staff just allow young kids to run around the hostel screaming and shouting with no regard or respect for other guests. The staff even joined in with the noise! The bunk beds are layer 3 beds high and they creak every time you move. I wasn't told anything about the breakfast, not even what time or where it was. Renovation work was taking place and that was made clear however the work men leer at you whenever you came out the shower. I've stayed in hundreds of hostels around the world, but this hostel is definitely one of the worst! Would not recommend!

Liked: The staff are LOVELY! It's a fun place, and it's quite small so it has a nice cozy atmosphere! Free breakfast as promised and the common room and kitchen were great!

Disliked: There was some peeling walls in the bathrooms, that's about it!

Liked: I was in the hostel last year, i tell you what they have fanyastic bar now with very good resturant that i was able to get a dinner for £3.50 with a nice pint of lager. The staff are very freindly/ helpful as usual and the facilties weas not bad at all consider that the hostel is big. I stayed in an hostel not too far from here the previos night, thank God i knew about journeys, my stay would have been hell..to say the least, it was fun staying here

Liked: Price was low taking in account that was new year's eve. Rooms aren't so crowded.

Disliked: Kitchen and bathrooms aren't clean. Is in the second ring of London tube, and if overground line to New Cross is not open is difficult to go there.

Liked: I did not like anything

Disliked: When we arrived to the hostel, the 30th of december, they had cancelled our booking without any reason, in a night that was almost impossible to find somewhere else to stay. in addition, the person who was in the reception had a very bad actitude, he was very rude and crude. they couldn't find a hostel for all of us.

Liked: there are always interesting people to meet. its relaxed and friendly. it's near the DLR and New Cross station, plenty of take aways and shops. beds are pretty good and place is clean. staff are friendly and helpful.

Disliked: cooking facilities are poor - microwave doesn't always work, the oven doesnt get hot enough to cook - you have to grill or fry. there are not enough plates/cutlery/mugs/glasses/pans, i took my own kitchen stuff this time. the frying pan they have is pointless its so old. the odd toilet seat here and there falls off and the showers doors will come off if you're not carefull! oh, and its above a pub so you will need earplugs if you want to sleep.

Disliked: Get what you pay for, shared bathrooms etc. Location wasn't that great but wasn't too bad either. Closet to Deptford Bridge Overground.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, good simple breakfast, clean bedrooms with curtains for each bed. Nice place to stay for it´s easy to get into the centre of London.

Disliked: Loud music in the pub downstairs till 2 o´clock in the morning.

Liked: Don't be put off by any 'shady' characters you might see outside the hostel/bar as this is one of the most welcoming, easy-going and friendly places you could stay in. Although facilities are quite basic, they are very clean and tidy. Beds are comfortable with fresh clean bedlinnen. Breakfast is in the bar downstairs which gives you the opportunity to chat with other travellers. The only drawback I could find about this hostel was perhaps the noise from people on the street outside the bar at night but nothing a pair of earplugs couldn't fix. Highly recommended if your're in the Greenwich/Deptford area.

Liked: Very welcoming and friendly staff. Nice place with lots of facilities available. Even the owner was helpful, and when there was no place in the all girls room, put us two alone in a 4 beds room. Good location with bus available all night, 20 mins away from city centre.Only hink : wireless not enough strong in our room, but works in the corridor and pub downstairs.
