Liked: Pretty good for the price, includes a breakfast and wi-fi. To get to the city, one needs to take DLR or a commuter train. International neighborhood. Some rooms are 3-bunks, some are 2-bunks. Take your own padlock!

Liked: Previous comments mention how its an 'unsafe' area. Just use your common sense and you'll be fine! Hostel is a bit further out from the city but its a great way to expolore London. The place is very clean and great value for money. Meeting another aussie on my trip was also great! Matt was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with - always polite and attentive.

Disliked: No cutlery in kitchen.

Liked: I loved the good atmosphere in here, I was going to stay for 2 days and I've been here for almost two weeks.

Disliked: The first days there were some problems with the showers, but It has been fixed.

Liked: The staff was friendly.

Disliked: There is something slightly off about the property as in the floors slant. I didn't feel safe coming back to the hostel at night, there is one toilet and the showers have very little room and leak on the floor of the bathroom. The pub underneath turns out very interesting characters at night and loud music.

Liked: Not much. The beds were fairly comfortable. The kitchen area was decent, though not very clean.

Disliked: Pretty much everything. The pub downstairs played really, really ridiculously loud music all through the nights I was there. I could barely sleep. The area was not the best and I did not feel very safe coming back to the hostel at night. The crowd in the pub downstairs also made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Also although the not the property's fault, but alot of the people staying there were rude and inconsiderate to other people, especially at night. People were even smoking in the hostel. The bathrooms weren't very good. Toilet seats were broken and the hot water barely worked. All in all I did not enjoy my stay at all. Thank goodness I was only there for a few nights.

Liked: At least the sheets were clean!

Disliked: Stayed here to get to the O2 arena, which was a bit of a trial to reach. It was grim, quite frankly. I spoke to a lass there who said she found it clean compared to other places she had stayed, but I thought it was dreadful. The showers on the 3rd flr weren't working properly and the kitchen had some sort of bug (a cockroach?) crawling around the work surfaces, then up the kitchen wall and hiding behind the cooker hood. The showers were filthy and I wasn't impressed by the shared-by-both-genders bathrooms, either...Breakfast was OK but felt thrown together. Much preferred Generator in Russell Square.

Liked: There wasn't too many people there, and the staff were all very helpful

Disliked: The internet connection kept dropping out, and the wifi only worked in certain areas

Liked: Friendly and caring staff. Clean, new and safe lockers in the room.

Disliked: Shower facilities and kitchen could be better equipped. Loud music from the bar until 2am on the weekends.

Liked: Lot of people staying there on long term, so it basically was a big cozy family. Very easy to come into contact

Disliked: 2 computers were stolen while i was there, and my phone charger also went missing. I would never go back there.

Liked: Not terribly far from Greenwich Park from which I walked from. Also nice and close to the New Cross train station.

Disliked: Noisy at night outside. Didn't sleep well.

Disliked: Not a very safe neighborhood. Located above a bar and the MUSIC WAS PLAYING UNTIL 7 AM AND WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP!

Liked: The beds were clean!

Disliked: The breakfast was just crap, with the unfrienliest staff ever! The rooms were small, showers and bathroom facilities even smaller and not very clean.

Liked: convenient location to get to o2 arena, very friendly staff and people around. dormitory rooms, so great for meeting new friends. wonderful clean bedding

Disliked: was being decorated, so the smell of strong paint made me feel ill, also no curtains, so room was rather light

Liked: As a solo traveler I felt that it was very secure. There are password locks on both the entrance door as well as the room door. Lockers are provided to secure belongings. I was surprised at how comfortable the beds were also. The people I met here were amazing- definitely made some memories. Will definitely come back!

Disliked: There really isn't anything bad I can say. If anything sharing the bathrooms, but that's just because I am slow and take forever to get ready : /

Liked: Not much, price was ok but still not value for money.

Disliked: It was so noisy at night that I hardly slept the 2 nights I was there. Staff just allow young kids to run around the hostel screaming and shouting with no regard or respect for other guests. The staff even joined in with the noise! The bunk beds are layer 3 beds high and they creak every time you move. I wasn't told anything about the breakfast, not even what time or where it was. Renovation work was taking place and that was made clear however the work men leer at you whenever you came out the shower. I've stayed in hundreds of hostels around the world, but this hostel is definitely one of the worst! Would not recommend!

Liked: The staff are LOVELY! It's a fun place, and it's quite small so it has a nice cozy atmosphere! Free breakfast as promised and the common room and kitchen were great!

Disliked: There was some peeling walls in the bathrooms, that's about it!
