Customer reviewWas told we would need to go to another hotel down the street in order to gain entrance to this hostel because our flight arrived after a certain time (10 pm maybe)? I went to the other hotel to be let in, the person on duty called O'Callaghans. I walked the 5 blocks back to O'Callaghans to be let in. No answer. Walked back to the other hotel. He called again. My husband was waiting at the door, but the O'Callaghans staff said no one was downstairs. Finally (after over 45 min) we were let in. O'Callaghans staff said they didn't have enough beds for us (I had proof of our booking --two single beds) from online. They said they could help us out by letting both of us sleep in one single bed. Another single bed in the room remained empty the entire night (I imagine it was the one we reserved, but we didn't want to take it just in case another guest came in late). They only charged us for the one bed, I had to argue a bit. I would never stay here again. The only reason I booked it is because we had a late flight coming in from Stansted and an early flight leaving out of Heathrow, and this hostel is on a tube stop that connects with both. |

Customer reviewthis hostel was ridiculously small, it does state its small on the website but it is so cramped its not funny. the kitchen is impossible to do anything in and the bathrooms are constantly dirty. The 'common room' is pathetic, its so tiny and hard to move, having breakfast in the is extremely awkward and the managers office is also in there which gives it a not so relaxing vibe. the rooms are small and beds old and uncomfortable. The cleaner was good but he was only there for a few hours so the hostel got dirty again very quickly and remained like that for the rest of the day. The staff were friendly however and the free breakfast was good but i would not recommend this to anyone. |

Customer reviewIt's right across from the tube station which is very handy. The location is also great, quite central to London and on the district line. The beds came with clean sheets and pillows etc, and there were lockers in each room. The hostel was nice and small and had a good vibe, just make sure you arrive at 11am as they wont let you check in before that! Only other thing was the showers were small... |

Elena SalikhovaI would not recommend to stay in this hostel: rooms are small, the beds are low that they can not sit people, not hunched over and resting his head into the net the other bed. Shower rooms are not closed, they lack the hooks, which could hang things and bathroom accessories. Of the four shower cubicles worked only two, with one of them had no hot water. Shower and toilet are dirty. Cooking is so small that its hard to fit 2 persons. Despite the existence of a free breakfast in the hostel there was no room for meals, had to eat in the staff room, sitting on chairs-bags. It appeared that the friendliness of staff due to its indifferent mood. The only advantage of this hostel is a convenient location: 1 minute from the metro station |

Customer reviewLocation was great, very easy to find and nice neighbourhood. Only bad thing was that the showers were really small and it either had cold or burning hot water. Staff was really nice. |
