Liked: Curtain and own light and power socket make the backpacking life a bit more bearable. Fresh linen also good. Fairly good breakfast selection.However my stay was mostly negative: self-catering kitchen very ill equipped, wall between dorm and rec room incredibly thin with TV blaring at all hours; staff seemed to be wrapped up in their own politics, swearing and bitching about each other. There's also not really anywhere to go to chill out that's not noisy.

Liked: one of the best hostels I've ever stayed. staff are outstanding. friendly, fun, full of character and ready to help at the drop of a hat. the common room has a fantastic atmosphere, always has something going on, and is very conducive to meeting other people staying in hostel. location is very close to tube station, despite its distance from city centre. facilities in perfect working order. showers are hot and high-pressured [best i've experienced in hostel] and the curtains around the bed are an inspired idea. would stay here again. thanks all for the stay !!

Liked: Warm reception and good help from the staff, i would have had more ventilation inside the bedrooms but that can be solved easily by removing obstacles off the window frames. However gret place to recommend for a short and cheap stay in town. Thank you.

Liked: The atmosphere in the bar and common room was fantastic and the staff were really fun to hang out with :) And of course more than helpful! We felt at home almost right away! The dorms were quite smelly, but i guess that can be hard to avoid when 9-15 people are sleeping, drying towels and leaving dirty underwear on the floor in the same room. Each bed had a curtain, so it was possible to have some privacy, which was nice. Breakfeast was fine and the beers were amazing ;) The area in Kennington was very quiet and cosy,and about 500 m from the Underground Station. But when the Underground closes around 1.00 on weekday nights, you have to take a cab, and that costs around 10-12 pounds from Picadilly Circus to Kennington Station. It was a very charming place and alltogether it was a great experience and i would definately reccomend Journey's London Bridge - and stay there next time i'm in London!!

Liked: The atmosphere and the staff were friendly and relaxed and our whole stay was very enjoyable! We would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone and will definitely be returning next time we're in London!

Liked: Journeys London Bridge is a good-value hostel offering comfortable bunks and good breakfast. Located in London's zone 2 and well connected to the center it's one of the best choice for a cheap journey in UK's capital.

Liked: Free internet, kitchen etc. Too many Australians this is supposed to be London not little Australia... Also the bedrooms were super cramped and really really hot. You have to catch train to go out and the tube closes early so the location may not be that convenient if you want to go out late.

Liked: Nice place, good value for money and short walk to tube. Breakfast was sufficient, place was clean and you could sleep in peace. It wasn't perfect, but it was much better than I would've expected for the money. Definitely recommended.

Liked: Fantastic hostel with good employees. One annoying complication is that the key cards deactivate after a few uses and you have to trek downstairs to reboot them. Overall a great place to stay, although it is at least a half hours walk to the London eye and farther from other main attractions.
