Liked: The bar and bar staff were awesome. The beds were comfy and the room reasonably clean. Nice and close to Kings Cross St Pancras.

Disliked: The lockers were too small for a bag or even a laptop. Despite the staff being helpful they were slow and there was always a line at reception. Bathroom had a mysterious odour that didn't go away.

Liked: Great atmosphere, really easy to meet other solo travelers. The breakfast is amazing, really good having the bar on site. Close to kings cross station makes it really easy to get the tube anywhere, including the airport. Girls dorms really clean, bright and airy. Would definitely stay again.

Disliked: Bathrooms had no ventilation so were really hot/stuffy and smelly. Having said that, the water was always hot and I never had to queue for a shower so not bad.

Liked: Nice that is was an old courthouse.

Disliked: Somewhat noisy. Bad smell of dumpsters outside the window in the alley.

Liked: Clean rooms, showers, toilets. It's a big hostel, but not noisy at all. 10-min walk from Kings Cross station, with 6 underground lines departing from there, so easy access to almost the entire city.

Disliked: The showers were too hot.

Liked: Really clean facilities and super comfy beds. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

Liked: Fantastic back-packing culture and atmosphere. I really liked that the clashbar had different events every night. Friendly and comfortable place. Stylish and modern, but also with a rich history.

Disliked: My only criticism is lack of air-conditioning, but I was there when the weather was unusually hot for London

Liked: The staff was great, very frienly and helpful. Everything works fine and they have a lot of facilities to make your stay comfortable and easy.

Disliked: Sometimes in the mornings you have to wait to use the toilets, but I guess that's normal.

Liked: It was very clean, great decor and fuirnishings. The beds were very comfortable.

Disliked: No air conditioning.

Liked: Common rooms, kitchen, toilets, excellent! Nice decoration, urban style ( creative graffitis in rooms). Good environment

Disliked: Luggage room too small. All bags over the others, possibility of breaking easily.

Liked: Tje last room I stayed in after changing several times.

Disliked: I checked in the 24.07.2011 and have been given a bed in a 6 beds room in the basement. The bed itself resembled a box limited left and right by a wooden board and me sleeping in the middle. I have been given another room on the top of the hostel. The bed was better, unfortunately one guy in there brought a girl in the room when sleeping time and that was not ok. After complaining they left. On the follwoing day when the guys checked out, two girls checked in the room and they as well brought some 2 guys along in the middle of the night arguing about who gets f. ... first. Telling them the sleeping room is not a cvommon area it did not help and after a hefty crosstalk and complaining at 3 o clock in the morning to the security staff I have been given another room and once there the people in there left. I left the following morning. People there seem not to care about rules and regulations. Security was nice though. The bathrooms I had was tiny after all. Breakfast hostel standard.

Disliked: Rooms very small and cramped. Water either very hot or cold in the showers, toilets often smelly, only a small and noisy place to relax. Yet a very good position and better than average UK hostel...

Liked: This is the best hostel I have ever stopped in it was soo clean I've stopped in 5 star hotels not this well maintained the guys & girls who do the cleaning are exceptional, beds were really comfy too!!!

Disliked: nothing

Liked: A clean, relatively quiet hostel with a super nice staff and a superb kitchen. Recommended to all!

Liked: Breakfast is plenty and it is very near king cross. Very nice people and atmosphere at the bar.

Disliked: There is nowhere wothin the property where you can dring your own alcohol. If it is not bought inside then you cant have it there. That is awful for such a nice hostel. Then, for that price I guess free wi fi at least on one area should be included
