Liked: Ive stayed here on two separate occasions, both times were fine. Cool building, people here are usually up for meeting other random travelers.

Disliked: My room smelled like feet. I suppose that's really more the fault of the other people in my room but jesus, you should see a doctor! That's not right!

Liked: The staff is great and very helpful, there was always hot water in the showers and the location is just perfect.

Liked: Unique selling point due to history of property. Could have played on this a little more.

Disliked: Location was a good 10-15 mins from nearest tube station. Not excessive but a minor irritation.

Liked: The variety of rooms available, the people (both staff & guests), the self-catering kitchen, the free tour, the luggage room since I wasn't leaving London til 8 in the evening.

Disliked: The room was rather small, smaller than I expected and the one I was in (4-bed room) didn't have any lockers. I didn't really mind that when it came to my luggage but I would've preferred to leave my laptop somewhere safe and secure. The little box where the reading light is, which wasn't working btw, isn't nearly big enough for that.

Liked: Pretty close walk to Kings Cross station. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. It has a cool atmosphere for younger travellers. There's a big bar and free breakfast. The bunks are built with partial walls surrounding so it's slightly private.

Disliked: Wifi wasn't free but there is a room full of computers you can use global gossip cards on. The rooms are small and cramped so there isn't much room for your luggage. The lockers are very small, you can only fit your basic things inside like your passport and electronics, not bags or larger items.

Liked: I liked how there were different and cheap places to eat at. Good location because not too far from the metro.

Disliked: It wasn't that very clean inside and out. The location didn't look safe.

Liked: Good proximity to Kings Cross/St Pancras Station. There are also some good cheaps eats that would feed even the poorest of backpackers in the immediate area.

Disliked: Big and expensive city hostel. If you are after a smaller, frendlier place to meet other like-minded travellers then I would recommend elsewhere.

Disliked: Not recommended for couples or for business trips. Our private room was next to the nightclub! which meant no sleep at all. Vomit on the toilet floor and being woken up in the middle of the night by drunken teenagers.

Liked: I Loved the decor and the charm of the converted court house and the Girls only area

Disliked: The showers run cold all the time and theyre the push kind that only stay on for 20 seconds. Our room was freezing, it was october and very cold. The bedding was warm though, thank god!

Liked: I loved the friendliness of the staff, the quotes on the wall, the wild energy of people meeting at a crossroad

Disliked: Well the bathrooms were a bit dirty, but i think its because the staff have trouble keeping up with the guests... its mostly during nightime that people seem to have trouble aiming

Liked: It's conveniently located if Saint Pancras is the station you're coming to or leaving from

Disliked: Way too expensive for what it is. The staff is incredibly rude, everything needs to be paid for separately, AND we had issues with someone bringing in her boyfriend to the room and the staff had a heated argument with her and her boyfriend in the middle of the room with the lights on at 3am. Also they didn't knock when coming in and the male member of the staff pretty much see me naked as I was changing to go to sleep. Very rude!

Liked: good clean hostel, comfortable beds, hot showers with good water pressure, friendly staff, good atmosphere, good location (zone 1, about 10 mins walk from tube station). desktop computers available to use (but v. expensive). dividers to separate beds, individual bed lights, good (free) breakfast), spacious enough rooms.

Disliked: internet expensive, ladders to top bunks almost impossible to use! bed lockers really tiny - enough room for passport, mobile phone, iPod etc but not much else.

Liked: Pretty easy to find from Kings Cross

Disliked: No Pillow on first night, just 1 sheet, light on bed broken, breakfast room too hot and crowded

Liked: Quite close to Kings Cross, the style is unique and friendly, the bar is nice as well. Rooms / bathrooms are clean.

Disliked: The basement rooms are tiny with little ventilation or natural light.. Toilets are very small, with the door hard to close even after an average size person. The bed lockers are too small for an iPad or a laptop.

Liked: Lovely atmosphere! I travelled alone and I just stayed for one night so I didn't have time to enjoyed at all but during this time I met great people. If you hate to wake up early at morning, they make them easy&happy with the huge breakfast that they provide you.

Disliked: Just 2 bad things for me: The first one it's that you have to pay for the Internet and the second one is that you are sleeping in the top of the bunk bed, take care to not die when you try to go down. The ladder has an small gaps to put your feets and it's too unconfortable (even with my 5 shoe size).

Liked: That the beds were very seperate which was good. the lock boxes on eachbed were very helpful. the bedding was really warm. showers were hot. easy acess to town and train station, also good shops close for food etc. there were a lot of computers which was good. free breakfast was great.

Disliked: there was only 2 showers on a floor that had about 100 people and they were push ones.
