Palmers Lodge Swiss Cottage is a unique new central London hostel. Located near Swiss Cottage tube station this Victorian grade II listed building, former home of Samuel Palmer of the Huntley and Palmers Biscuit Empire, has received a substantial refurbishment to restore it to original condition and to offer the international traveler all the facilities expected at the very best hostels in London.

We have a wide selection of dorms; from smaller rooms up to a 28-bed dorm for the really price conscious traveller. Great care has been taken in furnishing our spacious rooms to the highest standard with top quality bunks and secure storage facilities.

Guests can enjoy free internet and WiFi access in the lobby, relax in the lounge or have a drink with friends in our bar. A free continental breakfast is served in the dining room.

Our large and beautiful Lounge is a great place to meet new friends. Our Bar is a great place to hang out with cheap drinks every night of the week!! Both Lounge and Bar are equipped with large flat screen TVs.

This beautiful building gives our guests the chance not just to see London's history but also to sleep in it! The restoration has added all modern facilities without spoiling the building's character and guests can be assured by our conscientious staff, security card system and commitment to the highest standards.

We are open 24 hours a day with no curfew and staff who are always on hand to answer queries from guests.

BOOKINGS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED FROM ANY PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 18 UNLESS THEY ARE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT (OVER 18) WHO IS STAYING IN THE SAME DORM/ROOM. IF STAYING IN A SINGLE SEX DORM ROOM THE ADULT AND CHILD MUST BE THE SAME GENDER.
COUPLES UNDER 18 YEARS OLD ARE NOT ABLE TO SHARE A PRIVATE ROOM.
NOTE THAT GUEST UNDER 16 YEAR OLD MUST BE IN A PRIVATE ROOM (WITH AN ADULT) AND CANNOT STAY IN DORMS SHARING WITH OTHER TRAVELLERS. WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION SIGNED BY THEIR PARENTS AND COPIES OF PARENTS ID’S ARE NEEDED, FOR ALL UNDER 18 YEARS OLD.

In compliance with Licensing Law, all under 18s will be asked to leave Bar after 8pm.

GROUP BOOKINGS OF OVER 15 PERSONS will need to contact the hostel’s groups department directly, to make sure that the hostel can allocate as many of the guests in the same room/s.

CANCELLATIONS
All guests checking in require Photo ID.
Earliest check-in: 14:00, Latest check-out: 11:00
A 24 hours notice (from check in time) in required in order not to be charged for the night.
The cancellation notice has to be sent by email.
Any no-shows will be charged in full for the first night.
Sale bookings are non refundable.
Please note that reservations for the night of the 31st December 2013 will be subject to a no-cancellation policy. For bookings on New Year’s Eve we will charge the full amount of the booking to the credit card you supply when making a reservation and that full payment will be taken in advance.
