Best hostel in London - why?
1. Friendly staff
2. Friendly travellers
3. Located in an upscale part of London with easy access to central London
4. Clean and decent facilities - including kitchen.
I like this place because you can chat to strangers who are friendly - a rarity in London perhaps. Well they started up conversations with me anyway, so feel very welcome here. Can I stay here permanently and work here or something? LOL

It's a great, honest place in a nice neighborhood of London. A lot of convenient amenities are also nearby (i.e. Tube station and 24 hr groceries!)

Not exactly sure why everyone was bitching on this website about this Hostel. It was my first hostel I've ever stayed in and to be honest it was a lot of fun. The Staff is really nice. The rooms all have bunk beds with large lockers, 2 for each set, so everything you need locked up is fine, although I didn't even feel my stuff needed to be. The Keys were kinda funky.. it ended up we had to leave all the doors unlocked the entire time I was there.. not a big deal everyone staying there was super cool and nice. The kitchen was pretty busy but if you get in early you can grab the TV remote and cook whatever you like. The bathrooms were great, use the 5th floor showers seemed to be the only ones that weren't ALL hot water. :) I had a blast and I'm used to very nice hotels and such. I would stay there again if I needed a cheap easy spot to stay.

during my 10-day stay i got to know a LOT of people from around the world which was so much fun. i really enjoyed the friendly and fun atmosphere and that one culd easily get into conversation with other guests especially in the evenings when everybody met in the kitchen for dinner or in the common room for a chat. thx for the lovely experience

Clean! Location was incredible, restaurants everywhere near the hostel... Friendly receptionists... Good vibes... Enjoyed my stay there, thank you

I was looking for someplace that wasnt party central and this turned out to be perfect. You could meet people at the hostel and go out but I was looking for a clean place to have a shower and crash for the night and this fit the bill.

Very friendly, social place - very easy to meet people, and there was always someone hanging out in the living room and kitchen. Located pretty close to the metro (on the line from Heathrow even!). Not the cleanest place ever, but still tolerable.
