You’ll be treated like royalty at the Astor Kensington – a friendly welcome 24 hours a day and no pesky curfew to get in the way of enjoying all the amazing pubs and clubs in super-cool South Kensington. Our staff is expert on going out and getting’ down so don’t forget to ask for all their hot tips!
A delicious, filling and FREE breakfast is provided every morning to get your day off to a great start and you won’t have to spend your cash in expensive restaurants. There is a large supermarket five minutes away and more busses running past than you can poke a stick at. But wait! The best is yet to come! The Astor Kensington’s location is AMAZING! You’re a five minute walk from three of the best museums in the world – the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, and the V & A. The Royal Albert Hall is practically across the road and let’s not forget beautiful Hyde Park, and the majestic Kensington Palace. If you’re less of a museum person and more of a shopper, then you’ll be in paradise at the Astor Kensington. Harrods – the greatest department store in the world – is a ten minute walk away through trendy South Kensington. This is where London’s hottest young things come for a bit of retail therapy – keep an eye out for Jude Law, Sienna Miller, Kate Moss and Keira Knightly, who all live in the area. And don’t forget the royal Princes, William and Harry, who frequent the clubs in the area almost every weekend.
You can spend days wondering through the gorgeous boutique stores, trendy cafes and small, independent art galleries, and when you feel like a change of scenery, all the sights and sounds of central London are a mere tube ride away (or you can walk, via Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey and Big Ben).
While you’re out, we make sure your belongings are safe and secure, with CCTV and a key card access system. There is also a safety deposit box in reception for your valuables. .
