Disliked: The room is very small and no light for each bed.If someone want to sleep, the others can't read as they want.

Liked: While the location of the hostel is quite central, that is really only the saving grace. The place is clearly well past it's prime, and is quite expensive compared to the more 'trendy' and modern hostels. During my particular stay there were several people sharing the same room as me who looked homeless (clearly not travellers), so I felt a little unsafe (and I've stayed in quite a few hostels before). The beds are custom built and too many are squeezed into each room. Where they are 3 high, the middle one is like a coffin. I'd stay again if it was the cheapest at the time, but really there's not much special about it, sorry.

Liked: fantastic location~ next to beautiful St Paul's Cathedral, where Princess Diana got married and cross the Millenium Bridge(which is 10 mins walk) you'll see Tate Modern. Also near to tube, shopping centre and so on. Nice neighborhood. very basic facilities. 8 people bedroom - will be lucky if you can sleep well.

Liked: NIce place. Old styled and next to st paul (you see the cathedral front from the reception windows). Room (room 1) was probably the worst one of the hostel (under the stairs) but all in all clean enough..

Liked: Great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean and it has good showers and toilets. I was pleasantly surprised to find the bed already made up. That's pretty unusual for a hostel. I would definitely stay there again.

Liked: Excellent location, five mins walk from St Paul's Underground station. Bit tired, could do with a lick of paint. Restaurant was very good, open for breakfast and dinner at around £5 a meal. Bathrooms and bedrooms spotlessly clean. Reception staff maybe don't know their stuff too well. Overheard a tourist ask about Bonfire Night (major British annual celebration) and receptionist didn't have a clue what it was.

Liked: really a great location fo your stay in london...it really is an okay hostel...nothing more or less...the check in takes very long though...so i really hope you don't get there being totally tired and ready for bed

Liked: Location is very good, beds are comfortable although a bit strange. Most staff members were friendly, but the chap at the reception when I arrived was definitely unfriendly. It's clean. Unfortunately, it does not have any self-catering facilities and it's not easy to meet people.

Liked: The Location in London center is good! and really practical with a bus station 100meter away from the YHA. The description of the website is NOT correct, as the Underground Blackfriars is close until 2011... you cschould change this!

Liked: Like: Cheap, very central location, easy walking distance to Northern & Central lines. Helpful staff, if a bit gruff at night, but lots of friendly people. Big hostel.Dislike: Make sure not to stay in room 1 if you're a guy. It's below street level and the entrance, and you hear everything coming and going. If you get stuck in there, invest in ear plugs or expect to get woken up at 5 am when delivery trucks start rumbling by.

Liked: very central location, but bathrooms were dirty. Also there was no real "hostel feeling"... ok for a weekend because sufficient to sleep and shower.

Liked: Great location in a quiet side street with quaint sandwich shops etc, yet still 2mins from subway, awesome. Shame the kitchen isn't for general use, only opens breakfast and evening diner i think? Would stay again no probs.
