Liked: The location is perfect, just in the core of the City. During the night there isn't much noise... only St.Paul's Cathedral's Bells (which is pretty pleasant) The place is quite clean, the staff is really helpful.

Disliked: Unfortunately I had a problem at my knee and in the hostel there isn't a lift... so... carrying luggages to the first floor... how hard!!!

Liked: Good location etc...

Disliked: We had a very bad experience because of a mistake in the booking, it is not very clear if it was the fault of the hostel or hostelbookers : we booked for two nights for 2 private rooms and were booked for one private room only. That spoilt our short stay as we could not feel relaxed not knowing where we would sleep fir half of us. We created a big fuss and the staff found a solution and was very good at that, but ended up having to be relocated twice in different places. The staff whose fault it was probably not was very very good and we ended up not being homeless but our night walk on Friday night did not happen which was a shame. Overall, being optimistic people, we enjoyed our stay. But hostelbookers should be very careful about the information sent and how it is received. About following question : we did not look around the hostel so don't know if hostelbookers was promoted or not

Liked: Location was quite nice. The room was big enough. The bed was comfortable. 24h reception - good!

Disliked: The staff weren't that nice.. :// I had to clime up all the way to the highest room with my large luggage, no elevator, no help by the staff.. In the room there where nothing to sit on! The church bell was ringing very laudly. I met nice people at my room, BUT in the lounge area (where the computer etc are) was impossible to meet anyone:( The same price as the YHA London Central, and compering to that, St Paul's wasn't worth the price... (I had to even pay £3 extra in St Paul's, but not in London Central..)

Liked: At the reception, there was a girl, very polite, Francesca! She was of help with information! The location is near St. Paul. You may find food at very low price nearby!

Liked: - Location - Cleanliness, consider its price If you are not YHA member, an extra 3 pounds sterling per night will be added to your bill.

Disliked: My room was next to the courtyard, and there was a machine (I guess it is a water pump.) which constantly worked through my stay. Also, there were so many noises which can interrupt your sleep e.g. footstep, door noise (people really could not stop opening and closing their room doors) If you are not so sensitive, it is a good choice, consider its price and location.

Liked: It has a place for travellers to hang around either in the food hall or in the lounge area.

Disliked: It does not provide free wifi and there are too little shower facilities.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, good location, good value breakfast & nice food.

Disliked: The toilets could've done with being cleaned more often. The noise levels at night were awful - get earplugs!!

Disliked: No Electricity in the dorm for my phone,expensive breakfast.Silly check-in and out time. 2pm Check in, Check out at 10.am.

Liked: A clean and cozy environment! Great location, good value!

Disliked: ...They charge for EVERYTHING Wifi and lockers should be FREE. 4 pounds for a towel, 1 pound for 20 min of internet, 3 pounds for a lock, 5 pounds for breakfast... it can add up.

Liked: Nice staff, spacious, nice beds and very clean rooms. Good size locker in the room and very central location. I didnt have it but noticedthat the breakfast seemed very good value.

Disliked: The beds are a little close together below and above. Free wifi would be very helpful as the YHA is more expensive than the cheaper hostels and £3 an hour is extremely expensive. I did not notice a members kitchen which used to be part of being a yha member - what is the advantage now especially in London hostels? They are no longer family orientated

Liked: Weird, but interesting atmosphere. Proximity to (chiming) St Paul's.

Disliked: The bunks are very difficult to share with people. Three to one bunk means you have to step on other people's beds if you're any higher than the lowest one.

Liked: It's well located altough the area didn't have many things open in the sourroundings.

Disliked: Many of them: 1.- The guy in reception during night shift was really unpleasant. 2.- My towel was stolen in the room. 3.- There's just one shower and one bathroom for the whole ground floor. 4.- Bed wasn't so good, mine was a bit blended although blankets and pillow were really nice.

Disliked: it is not as cheap as it appears online; there are several additional charges on the spot for basic amenities.

Liked: the big lockers in the rooms are really a plus the beds are quite comfy with good linen and 2 pillows

Disliked: not enough showers and toilets no small lights on beds no atmosphere, good place to sleep but not to have fun at member of hostelling international so there's a tax for those who aren't a member, which is not indicated on HostelBookers... You only find out when you get there and have no other option but to pay...
