Liked: great place to meet other travelers and very helpful staff...

Disliked: really small rooms (they put 15 beds in a normal bedroom)... and on weekends it's much more expensive than it says on hostelbookers...

Liked: The people were my age, they had a big TV and couches to relax on and pool to play. Everyone was friendly and well-behaved.

Disliked: There were a lot of bag, bins and other miscellaneous things lining the walls, which didn't give the place a very tidy persona. I also wasn't impressed with the staff. Asking me to wait 5-10 minutes while you have a personal conversation doesn't sit well with me.

Liked: only that it was central. you could walk from there to piccadilly in no time and a lot of busses sttopped near by

Disliked: the breakfast was very bad, they didnt have any plug adapters. bad stairs and very difficult to climb with bagage. small beds and the plug and the lamp by the bad never worked and believe my i stayed there for 1 week and had 2 different rooms and 3 different beds.

Liked: The beds are comfortable, the good thing about them was the curtains that avoid the light from coming through and made yourself comfortable beacause no body saw you sleeping or changing.

Disliked: The hostel is not safe but any means, while i was there they stole my friends i-phone and another girls computer.

Liked: The location.

Disliked: Very dirty, too many people in one bedroom, really small windows, no ventilation, dirty WC, dirty baths, dirty sinks.

Liked: They will store your bags for 1 pound. Great if like me you had a late flight out and still wanted to explore during the day without the hassel of dragging around your luggage.

Disliked: The rooms were really full because there is not enough room to put your luggage under the beds (and I only had small carry-ons). This meant that luggage was constantly everywhere - covering the entire floor. And with 15 people in a small room it was very tight.

Liked: Good location

Disliked: The 15 bed dorm was massively cramped, and 3 tier bunks which felt like you were sleeping in a cage. There were no lockers in the room, or any place to put luggage, therefore you couldn't move in the room due to the 15 bags on the floor!

Liked: Location is great, walking distance to Westminster. Staff was very helpful.

Disliked: I do not recommend this hostel unless it's emergency. One very good reason. Management do NOT care of well being of the customer. Here is why: 1) we slept in small room with total occupation of 12 people and there was not at all any fan or ventilation. Yes there is BIG window but fixed on the position that you just cannot open it very much. Heat was absolutely unbearable!!!! You just can't sleep in this condition. 2) toilet on our floor was constantly jammed (sometimes stayed filthy during many hours!). Everyday same situation. When I told about it on reception they answer: "Don't worry, use one on next floor" Oh thanks! 3) Every bed has electricity pugs, english and european - good point! But NON of theme in our room was actually connected to grid. So you need to charge your mobile or laptop in lounge or corridor. You must stay there all the time meanwhile you charging or risk to have stolen your stuff.

Liked: There is free wifi.

Disliked: Breakfast was a choice of cereals that ran out and toast. There was one helpful reception guy I talked with, the rest were awful and I would wait and wait until he got there to ask questions because the others were snippy or plain rude and usually their replies weren't accurate anyway. The hostel is not designed to be comfortable in hot weather and I was sweating pretty much my entire stay! Bathrooms were small Kitchen was small and hot and the frig is overly full of junk The couches in the lobby (room for 4 people total) were completely uncomfortable The pool table and tv are right outside the 15bed dorm on the ground floor- which makes it noisy all night and in the morning - there are no quiet hours and one of the receptionists is a psycho who turns up the tv volume to levels way too high on the shows he likes (Sunday morning 8am he had some stupid crash show on so there were explosions all morning, then later in the day it was a car race....dude, hand over the remote to a guest and turn the freaking volume down!) -I could not recommend this hostel, but I stayed a week because other hostels in London were booked. It is way too much money for what you get and prices are different each day of the week. The guy at reception told me to book online because they give worse deals if you book directly through them. What!?! I had to book through this website once I arrived at their hostel so I wouldn't have to pay even more than their ridiculous prices.

Liked: The amenities were good value - free wifi, clean beds & bedding and yes even UK & continental plug sockets. Also they had crunchy nut corn flakes!

Disliked: The room downstairs was far too hot as no window to outside. The window to the lobby was open instead so noise came in from there. The fans in the room also had no casing so quite dangerous. Apparently there weren't these problems in the other rooms so AVOID BOOKING THE 15 BED DORM.

Liked: We booked a private 3 bed room which was nice to have privacy but a bit $$ for what we got. Location was great and the street was pretty quiet so you could sleep. Definetly not fancy but it's an okay place to stay for a few nights. Easy to get around, close to north lamberth tube.

Disliked: No atmosphere

Disliked: they really cram you in, 15room bunks still its london so its to be expected. security was not good but if ur wise about your stuff it wont go missing. though there where lockers for a 1pound a day charge.

Disliked: extremily small and uncomfortable 3bed dormitory, only 1 small window which cannot be fully opened, extremily poor breakfast, unbearably hot premises with no fresh air at all!

Liked: The only good thing about this hostel is the location and the curtains around each bunk bed - good for privacy.

Disliked: Rooms don't have windows, and are very cramped and hot in summer. The hostel itself is extremely hot. Common room always noisy as it is the common room, tv room, check in/out, entry/exit....No place to just relax in peace - too hot in rooms, particularly if you're on the 3rd level bunk! |Showers are not good either - temperature control very sensitive. Would only stay here if last resort.

Liked: Nothing.

Disliked: I've been traveling for the last two and a half months and this is the worst place I've encountered. The rooms are really crammed and stuffy (no ventilation). Because of this, I haven't really slept in the last four nights. There are no laundry facilities. The washrooms are really really disgusting (I'm talking pubic hair in the sink for 24hrs, and floods). There is only one setting for water in the showers: boiling! The staff said it was a problem but that the manager didn't think it important to fix. The kitchen has a REALLY REALLY disgusting smell, and again no ventilation. Bad milk was offered for breakfast. etc. etc. etc. The list goes on. I can't believe that this place is still open. If I had more time in the UK I would seriously think of calling a health inspector, or reporting something.

Liked: honestly.. i wanted to leave the second i got there.

Disliked: The whole place smelled. They crammed 15 people into a room the size of a large bathroom by putting triple layer bunk beds in. It was so hot in the rooms I woke up sweating all night. The front desk "didn't know" where any of the things we wanted to see was, and made us pay for internet to look it up when they had a computer. The kitchen was horribly dirty, along with the whole building. I have stayed in a lot of hostels, and traveled all over europe, and this was BY FAR the worst place I have ever stayed.
