Liked: The staff - that's all!!

Disliked: Loud bar downstairs, men outside drinking all night, unclean reception and toilet.

Liked: GREAT place to meet new people - extended my stay here for 2 weeks! Have made great friends - common room doesn't look like much, but great place to hang out! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful - will always go out of their way to assist. Definitely recommend this place!!

Disliked: Bed's are a little uncomfortable. Can be hard to sleep on friday/saturday night as above a pub and across road from a nightclub - but can also be a good thing if you like rock music!

Liked: Convenient for my work. Plentiful bathrooms and kitchens

Disliked: Bathrooms are a bit grotty. Bed mattresses were quite uncomfortable and bunk beds quite squeaky. Lack of plug sockets and individual lights for each bed. Noise from road and pub downstairs can be significant

Liked: Great people to meet. For the price, its great, the place is clean and staff are very helpful!! Only 2 minutes to the station, great place to stay :)

Liked: The price was reasonable, toilets were clean, close to tube station and supermarket (Sainsbury's)

Disliked: No hot shower in the morning, draining was pretty bad.

Liked: The hostel was what was expected, staff were super friendly and helpful. Its a good hostel.

Disliked: The drunken louts on the street outside yelling at 3am. While the hostel itself is not overly loud the area seems to be a party zone so if your after a good nights sleep then probably avoid Friday and Saturday nights. But I suppose if your after the nightlife then its the place to be on Friday and Saturday nights

Liked: I really liked the warm-welcome that we received from the staff and the room mates. The staff was very listening to our questions and gave us very precise and practical answers.

Disliked: At night there s a lot of noise from the street (police cars).

Liked: First experience of London and hostel situated there, so - everything was new for me and I liked the atmosphere very much

Disliked: Heatings - it was on all days long. And sometimes bathrooms weren´t so clean (but it was caused by users, not by bad maintanance).

Liked: It was right above a pub, made for easy dinner, drinks & entertainment. The staff was super helpful in pointing me in the right direction as to which bus routes to take to get to my desired destinations. It was a very relaxed environment.

Disliked: It's a bit out of the way as far as its location to London's city centre. However it is not inconvenient to get to as there's an above ground rail station & bus stops within a 5 minute walk. A bit inconvenient to not have a shower on each floor, floor 1 had a bath, but no shower.

Liked: The staff are friendly and willing to help, when I was there they were organising paintball trips for staff and residents. There was a welcoming and social atmosphere in common areas and although the hostel isn’t in the city centre there are convenient train links and good value shops and eateries in the area so its really good value.

Disliked: Really cant think of anything!

Liked: I have to admit I was expecting something terrible after reading the reviews of this hostel, but I quite liked it! The staff was nice, the room really clean (it was upstairs and we couldn't hear the bar, which, yes, was active), the breakfast in the bar downstairs was charming in a cornflakes-and-white-bread kind of way, and the neighborhood is nice--not so superficially central, but perfectly practical, which is more up my personal alley--and the best brunch place ever (in London or elsewhere) is a block away--The London Particular. Go there before it is in every guidebook, truly. It's amazing. Overall, charming and perfectly fine. It's a hostel, sure, but I liked it's rough around the edgeness and we were actually sad to go to our next reservation in posh South Kensington to be honest!

Disliked: Yes, it has a bar downstairs, so weigh that in. My room wasn't noisy at all, but I may have also had a quiet room, but it was clean and so on! I have read there were some pipe problems in other reviews, and yes, one sink was broken, but we simply went to another one--there was also a working one in our room! Not sure we could get the wifi working either, but we were only there one night, and didn't prioritise that.

Liked: I think it's the best hostel i've ever been, full of cool people, most of them living there, not so many backpackers, but that's the way i love travelling, meeting people from the place, meeting the real city!

Liked: Close to train stations, take aways and sainsbury's supermarket.

Disliked: Hard to find, Right above a bar with live music - lots of students shouting until the early hours (would have been nice to be told) - ended up not getting ANY sleep, Flimsy bunkbeds - can feel every toss and turn of the person below you, 2 of us stayed in a 4 bed dorm - ended up on two separate bunkbeds with the people below us snoring ALL night - would have been nice if we'd have had the same bunk, no room to sit in the living room - ended up sitting on the stairs, WiFi connection very poor!!!!

Disliked: There was a Disco under the Hostel with very loud music on weekends.
