I've stayed in over ten hostels in the past two and a half months, and Meininger was by FAR, the best hostel that I have been to. I felt safe and clean, which are big deals for me! The staff was helpful, even when I had questions about good places to eat or even where to buy a phone card. It was the only hostel I've been to where each resident had their own key card to enter the room. I definitely felt safe here!

It is lovely and clean, and quiet, with more facilities than any of the other hostels we have stayed in. Excellent standard of service.

Everything from the location to the staff and the secure room. Besides not that expensive for London. And breakfast included.

Very clean. The lockers in the rooms are hoge, and you can use your own lock. They have the best hostel breakfast we found anywhere, including fruit salad, porridge, muesli, and whole wheat bread (don't worry...there was also white bread and cornflakes if that's what you prefer).

This hostel was one of seveal on a summer trek throughout Europe and comparitively it was one of the nicest as far as amenities. However, as far as meeting people, we didn't find this hostel to be a means to that end.

unique and wonderful, all tha staff I met, were just very nice(the front desk assistants, the scout's friendly gentleman-from Brazil, to the cleaners of entrance floor, they all have a special way to deal with the guests).
Another hilighits is that is a FREE smoke and alchool place
If you're going to London just stay Here, at Baden-Powell's House

Ten points of cleanliness of this hostel! The dorms were spacious and clean, the staff was very helpful and the location is good.
The only minus was that we didn't get the room before 3pm. Anyway, I recommend this hostel - you really get your money's worth!
