Liked: I particularly liked the location. It's in just the right part of town, very close to the Tate Modern and a nice riverside walk away from the rest of the main sights. If I had had more time, I would've wondered around more in the Borough are Southwark area, I especially liked the Borough Market. The breakfast was also quite nice, a selection of cereal, toast with jam, coffee, tea, juice. I found it nice. The staff was helpful and nice, but at times they seemed to be carried away, distracted. They wanted to portray a very cool hip easygoing spirit, but seemed a bit careless instead.

Disliked: The room was quite small. In Eastern Europe I've stayed in a double room the same size for a lower price, but this one was for 8 people. Oh well. The whole experience was quite crammed, apart from the pub where they served breakfast, that was very nice. Also, the bathrooms were weird - I mean, two taps per sink, one for hot and one for cold water, but none for warm water? Really?

Liked: Hay lugares para guardar de manera seguro los objetos personales. Es bastante organizado y los baños están casi siempre en buenas condiciones. La ubicación es muy buena.

Disliked: Un poco molesto el ruido del bar que está abajo, pero en general bien.

Liked: free breakfast and they had an easy way of outchecking

Disliked: the noise of the people that were from the bar under us that stood down on the street for our room. since the windows were not very isolating we almost coujld hear their conversations. and the internet of the hostel was really slow.

Liked: Friendly and helpful staff, good location just 5 minute walk from London Bridge Station and easy access to/from Liverpool Station, which makes travel to Stansted Airport easy (and as far as I could see, also from Heathrow and Gatwick (don't know about Luton))

Disliked: There's no cooking facilities, just a microwave owen... If you're a traveller on a budget, that might be something to consider (although you can get a decent meal from one of the many small cafés/restaurants for 3-4£ so not a big problem) Lot of noise from the downstairs pub.

Disliked: Unfortunately we shared room with people that had to get up in the middle of the night, so we did not get a full nights sleep during our stay, but that is just bad luck

Liked: Everything. I arrived at 3am in the morning and the receptionist was really helpful at getting me checked in. The luggage lockers were cheap, and I could use them even though I'd only stayed there one night (I've been denied elsewhere because of this), The bed was quite comfortable, which I desperately needed after 21 hours of flying.

Disliked: Nothing. Wasn't there long enough to truly find out what the atmosphere was like.

Liked: I really liked that the hostel is open 24 hours a day as well as the reception was. This was extremly helpful to us at our arrival, because our flight was about 3 hours delayed and so we arrived at about 11 pm.

Disliked: It was a bit noisy at night, because of the people sitting outside at the pub downstairs. But only until 2 am. ;)

Liked: Hotel offıcer is very kind to me. There is convenience store near the hostel. City map and discount ticket is available.

Disliked: It needs fee to use Internet service, locker room. Internet PC is old and sometimes doesn't work.

Liked: Only 3 bathrooms? No way! Not enough absolutely.

Disliked: The temperature of the hot water in the bathroom cannot change how strong it is. And this is the warming to the fresh comers: the water is too cold when first turn it on. So it is better to wait for a minute until the water has turned hot.

Liked: Staff was very willing, the price was good.

Disliked: Some mates were not considerate, but this is not the fault of the property. The heating did not work from 06/03 to 07/03, therefore was cold.

Liked: St. Christopher's was a wonderful experience. the staff was eager to help with recommendations. the pub downstairs was fun and had great drink specials. we got upgraded to a better room (by mistake...but we certainly didn't complain) but the price stayed the same. for two girls traveling alone we felt completely safe and comfortable. the location was perfect, plenty of good places to eat. if you like greek food make sure you go across the street to tas. it was beyond amazing and very inexpensive

Disliked: the bathrooms weren't that nice...

Liked: friendly staff, lockable cage under bed, rentable lockers available, quiet. I switched to the all-female "Oasis" hostel option, and it was AMAZING; I would absolutely reccomend it to any female traveller!! (safer, quieter, nicer, cleaner, FAR more comfortable).

Disliked: It's possible to steal things out of cage lockers beneath beds (which are your only storage options in the room); I contracted bed bugs
